Good service

Car was fine, but no key drop, very unusual! They should fix that because they're allowing a rental until Sunday morning but the office is closed at that time. As a result I had to get creative with the key and call from abroad to confirm they received the car.

Via Sunnycars een auto geboekt, dan weet je van tevoren niet met welke verhuurder je zaken doet. Dit bleek Thrifty te zijn, zij verhuren blijkbaar de oudere auto's van Hertz.
De auto had een heel lange lijst van beschadigingen, deze waren voor ons nauwelijks te controleren, aangezien de auto buiten stond en het hard regende. Ook had de auto vieze bekleding. Er was geen andere auto beschikbaar. Ruitenwissers waren niet best, dus langzaam moeten rijden vanwege de regen.
Personeel was vriendelijk, maar kwaliteit van de auto was echt niet OK.
Al met al geen goede ervaring.

Dear Thrifty and Hertz. This has been our worst experience in car rentals. And believe me, I do not exaggerate because I myself worked for 3 years in Firefly in Alicante Airport and my husband and I have rented a million times all over the world.
The person who attended us was very smiling, but did NOT explain one single thing about the rental agreement. We NEVER wanted or ASKED for additional insurance. We always rent without insurance and we had our credit card ready to pay the deposit. The person who attended us included insurance in an absolutely abusive and cheating way without telling us a thing. We never knew we had insurance already PAID for.
For picking up the car 40 minutes earlier the reservation time, he charged us ONE ADDITIONAL DAY without telling us anything again. He could have explained to wait these 40 minutes and not charge something we never knew about.
There were other charges that we never knew about, like location charge. We of course understand those are normal charges but please, the person at the desk must explain all these charges.
I also telephoned to complain and spoke to the manager and he was absolutely rude and inappropriate to me. He started yelling at me saying that I have nothing to say and that that is "how they always work". That was absolutely incredible and so rude from his part. Instead of asking for an apology and EXPLAINING to foreign clients every charge, he only screamed at me and said literally "Madam, do whatever you want and don't complain to me". Incredible and very very unpolite.
I request the insurance money to be returned because it is highly illegal to charge that WITHOUT informing the client. I am a lawyer and I will take all the legal actions against the person who sold us all those things be cheating, against the manager and of course against the company.
Never recommended to anyone.

Thiefs. Guys, NEVER EVER hire a car in this place. Online prices are fake. We paid 91 euro for pre-booking a car, and found that it wasn't possible to hire it without paying extra charges for insurance. We canceled our pre-reservation and finally didn't book the car, but they charged us 91 euro and there is no way to get the money back. So the result is: WE PAID FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
They won 91 euro from us, and I hope they lose hundreds when future customers read our review

Flight number was provided, flight got delayed and when my partner arrived at Thrifty they said they had given the car away. They refused to book him a new car and refused to give his deposit back. Avoid this company at all cost.

ik heb een auto via Dollar Rental Cars gehuurd, en op Los Angelas afgehaald en in Las Vegas afgegeven, wat blijkt nu dat ik 2 afboekingen op mijn creditkaart heb gekregen, ipv 1 voor af afgesproken en bevestigde huur contract, en kan hier totaal niemand kan spreken, enkel via voicemails en auto chat robot, een waardeloze club dus trap niet in hun huur contract

Slechte service, auto geboekt via Ryanair, geen mogelijkheid om te wijzigen naar volgende dag dankzij vertraging Ryanair. Opnieuw boeken was veel duurder Belachelijk!

helaas is dit bedrijf oplichterij. Letop! u krijgt geen auto als u online betaalt. zeer onaangename ervaring
