Zoo Veldhoven

Nice place for birthday party for small children. There is indoor and outdoor playground, you can feed the birds and you get something to drink, icecream and fries plus snack. Tip: bring cake yourself.

The zoo was awesome. You can feed the birds for 1 euro you buy a little bag of seeds at the entrance. Big place,full of all kinds of birds. They have a few lemurs and donkeys,and goats but in rest birds. A nice experience.

This is an amazing zoo. They have so much animals, especially birds. They are mostly rescued birds stemming from people who have discarded them or injured birds. Besides birds they have a lot of farm animals like donkeys, goats and horses but they also have more exotic ones likes zebra's. It's really fun to come here with kids but I would also really recommend this as a date! The people who work here are very helpful and passionate. The animals have more space than I have seen in other zoo's so that makes me happy. It's also really fun to buy some nuts at the reception for 1 euro and feed the birds throughout the park! Thanks for the lovely experience, we have been here twice now and will definetly come back another time!

Very nice place . You can feed parrots and they even talk to you 😯🥰 a lot of interesting birds like I haven't seen before. Kids were very happy

Good parking possibilities and a short walk to the entrance of the park. Bought a bag of seeds from friendly receptionist to feed to the parrots and other birds.

Nice playgrounds for children up to 10 years or so. About 4 hours spent over there and had a lot of fun.

Very nice park where you can feed many kind of animals. Bring an apple and some grapes

Really enjoyed my day. I haven't been here for 15 years. It's wonderful what's been done.

Highly recommend to visit. Feed the birds and enjoy a nice snack on the terrace. Expect to spend 3 hours here at a minimum. More is even better.

Oh, it's not just birds!

Wonderful zoo with lots of parrots and other birds (flamingos, eagles, owls, ets.). You can feed parrots with nuts using special sticks. There is also jungle indoor and outdoor playgrounds. So it is a good place to visit with children.

Very pleasant trip to zoo in Veldhoven. It's located within 15 minutes drive from Eindhoven. Very quiet and calm area (maybe except planes from nearby airport). Lots of birds (also free, out of the cages). Recommend

Nice zoo! It is small enough that you can go through it within a couple of hours. There are many kinds of parrots which you can feed with seeds provided by the reception desk for 1 Euro/pack.

Very big place with hundreds of parrots. They have a lot of space, the aviaries are large and parrots look very well. It seems that they have good conditions there. There's a lot of playgrounds for children so even when kids don't enjoy animals, they can have a lot of fun.

Lovely little zoo. You get really close to some of the animals, many don't live in cages at all...

80% of the zoo is about birds. Nice cafeteria, great and big indoor and outdoor playground. Worth a visit , especially if you have kids.

Excellent place for day out. Especially that tou can feed the birds and other animals. Lots for spots for kids to play. Their cafe has a nice range of choice of food and drink with reasonable prices. Would certainly visit again!

It's big. So many birds. Fun play area for kids. You can easily spend half day here.

We have never been in this zoo and it's so close to our home.
So, today we finally visited.
We bought some seeds at the entrance and the kids were delirious. Feeding birds, wow!
It took us more than 4h to see most of the zoo, but we're soooo sloooow.
A nice zoo, close home, I'm sure we'll come here again.

At the entrance I saw this teak tree slice(?), tree born in 1539!!!!
And then with marked years.
What a super brilliant idea!!!!
Something to put our short lives in perspective. 🙂
