Great location for Museums, upscale shops and restaurants and more. The street noise can be a bit much at times. But the history and charm makes this place special. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I had the pleasure of being served by an exceptional cocktail waitress, Hanifa at Hotel Des Indes. Her attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor (took exceptional photos of my partner and I) significantly enhanced my experience. The drinks were expertly crafted, and her professionalism added a touch of elegance to the evening. I highly commend her outstanding service and look forward to returning for more delightful celebrations at the hotel!

Beautiful old hotel in a great location. Right next to the escher museum, winter Christmas market and a 10 minute walk from main area with shopping and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel is very good. They also have high tea.

Whenever I visit the Hague, I make sure to book this hotel. Amazing rooms with comfortable beds and polite, attentive and very helpful staff that make this hotel the gem it is. The decór and the ambience are the cherry on top. Thank you for another great three day stay!

Very nice hotel. Comfortable room with large shower. Lots of little sitting areas. Walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Make sure you reserve a spot for dinner as seating is limited, as soon as possible.

Pricey, but well worth it. It’s in the Museum Quarter, walking distance to numerous attractions. We arrived early and were met by a courteous gentleman who whisked our luggage inside while we checked in. Our room was gorgeous, and waiting for us inside was a bottle of chilled champagne and a nice card from the staff to celebrate our anniversary. There is a great restaurant in the hotel, plus a spa and pool, which we did not have the time to use, unfortunately. We wish we would have been there for more than one night!

Booked a classic room for three nights at Hotel Des Indes during a visit to Den Haag in late March 2023. Excellent check-in/-out experience. Every staff person I interacted with was attentive and responsive. Top notch service!

Beautiful historic building with an elegant lobby and lounge. My room was clean and comfortable. My stay at Hotel Des Indes was a nice change from chain hotel brands.

We had a great stay at Des Indes. Already before we came we had to change the date because of unforeseen personal circumstances. This was done without any problem.
When we arrived we were recognized by the concierge as we stayed before. Impressive.
Also at the reception the lady who changed the reservation came to ask how things are.

The hotel has a very good atmosphere and the room was clean and had a wonderful bed. There was also a bottle of complementary Cava in the room.

In the morning there was a very nice breakfast where you can take from the buffet, but also some menu options are available.

We felt treated special by the staff of the Des Indes hotel and enjoyed our stay.
Next time when we visit The Hague we will for sure go back to this hotel.

We booked the hotel as a base during a long weekend visting my partners' youngest, who lives and works in Den Haag. The hotel turned out to be ideal for us as it's within a short walking distance of some super restaurants, waterside, tree lined avenues, squares and museums. Hotel service was great; I'm not sure what type of room we had, but it was lovely: a large comfy bed, large floor to ceiling windows looking out to an atrium. The room was a little warm at times for my liking, but that was easily remedied with the room thermstat and opening windows. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts in the ornate hotel dining area and would not hesitate to stay there again.

It's absolutely beautiful and amazing looking inside. I had time to kill before dinner reservation. Staff and service is excellent. Had Berry mocktail was delicious and had mock tails more expensive than this that were less. Enough staff and all so kind and social.

Incredible service and cozy, clean, elegant hotel with classic decor and a definite feeling of a long important history. I must emphasize the air-tight service. Every moment and detail was carefully administered. We had an excellent time even down to renting the bikes, which were beautiful.

This was a very lovely place with lots of history. Elegant rooms with everything you need. Good resturant and excellent services all around. You won't be disappointed! I particularly liked all the furniture and decor, great splendid details.

We had a lovely high tea with a curated selection of teas to accompany the diverse excellent dishes served by the friendly staff. An interesting unique interior decor completed the experience.

Amazing experience from the doorman to the rooms. The doorman remembered the name of the kids even after a few days. The breakfast staff remembered our preferences as well. Breakfast is excellent! Delicious food, the most fluffy pancakes, great variety, fresh food! Dinner was great, very impressed with the staff again! They would do their best to accommodate our requests. The rooms are spacious, nice view. The spa is another great advantage. You can decide on the spot with the therapist what it’s best for you. The products used leave your skin soft for days. All in all, excellent experience!

This is not just the best hotel in The Hague, it’s one of my favorites in all of Europe. The structure itself - rooms, spa, common areas and restaurant - is beautiful, but the kind and courteous staff really make it a special place to stay. The location is also charming and convenient.

My wife and I always look back fondly to the time we stayed at the Hotel des Indes. We believe it to be the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in, and that includes some truly amazing places. The reason is the timeless beauty of the place, the echoes of those who came before, and the compassionate service. We had planned to stay for a couple of days and then go on to a well known hotel along the coast, but after des Indes it was so disappointing we cancelled the rest of our stay and came back. We loved the breakfast buffet, the service, but especially the preservation of the spirit of the place. I really wish them all the best as I doubt we will be in The Hague again, but perhaps you can experience what we did.
