Duo Camp Campsite By The River

One of the most amazing River Campsites I have been to so far! The River here is majestic, crystal clear, cooling and refreshing! Campsite has ample clean basic toilets and was windy and cooling at night. Loved the ambiance!

Serenity of the river really helps you sleep at night.
Try to go either start or end of the month to experience stargazing. ✨
Middle of the month for full moon 🌕
Only issue is no trees so afternoon would be kinda hot 😂
But no insects hehehe 😜
Pls contact owners for detailed description of how to get there 😂 don’t use waze cause it’ll take you offroad to some unknown place.
Nearby waterfall hike, Batu Bertenggek. Gorgeous one hour hike.

First time camping here. Got a lovely spot just next to the river. River water is clear and cooling. Enjoyed a nice cold dip in the hot afternoon weather. Toilets are newly built and very clean. At night, it can be a bit warm but it's due to the current heat wave season. CO was very friendly and flexible in all the arrangements. Kuddos and keep up the good work.

Great site! You can book your own lots based on the size and location you need. Friendly and helpful owner. Don't follow the location on maps, get instructions from owner beforehand on how to reach the site.

Only 2 toilet/shower rooms for such a big space, but heard they're expanding to have more toilets.

Specific lots are car camping friendly, otherwise you'd have to park in the designated area and walk a short distance to your site. The river was great fun!

We have been here twice and we love it. This is so far the best site for river-lovers. Very friendly campsite owner and he make sure we are all well taken care of. Will definitely be back again. :)

Clean, not over crowded, friendly owner

We stayed for one night and it’s our first camping trip. We encountered heavy rain during set up, the person in charge was here to help, and always making sure if we are comfortable/need anything.

The first evening and night was chill and cloudy due to the afternoon rain, the place could get a little hot during daytime as there is no shade.

Nice river right beside, facility is clean.
The road getting in is a little bumpy and muddy(depends on weather).

They do provide tent and equipment rental.

Good short getaway

Pros :
clean toilet, nice river, no other light pollution except the spot light from nearby temple.
Cons :
- super dark camp site with literally no lighting at all, which is quite dangerous especially otw to toilet over stony & hilly ground.
- its not gated / not private site, nearby hikers / construction workers / public can just pass by your tent anytime.
- some lot are quite small
- price is on the higher side (1 tent 1 flysheet RM100) .... considering the site is not gated / no lighting / basic facilities only

-After checkout - Silent and not read WhatsApp...
-Next day Morning - Called Admin and he told me...he will refund now...
-Later at 2PM - Call again....Owhh I will approve transaction tonight and it takes 2-3 Days to process...

Now still silent....

-Dog poop and pee everywhere
-Broken toilet
-Dirty Water
-No one will come there and told you where your camp site
-Unfriendly Landlord

Stupid admin and Scam....take 2-3 day to refund ? but not yet process...Please don't ignore this comment...

It is one of the worst customer service i ever met after so many campsite i have went. Start by asking some enquiry,
they took more than 1 week to reply not just from Whatsapp also from Instagram. And even after booking the campsite together with transferred booking money there's no response on confirmation and reply until i have to initiate. Now the problem is they stated refundable deposit RM100 after checked out and we checked out like more than a week i have to keep asking about the deposit and till now have not take any sort of action. It is very discouraging, unpleasant, and so pissed experience of customer service and making customer looks dumbs.

Campsite no longer as nice anymore, not like they did a good job in maintenance compared to a different owner who used to take care of the place, dirty river and more building developing around the area.

Terrible customer service. Super forgetful admin and owner, keeps on forgetting your refunds. Promised over and over again but didn't process it. Owner is also rude on phone call. Plus, Duo Camp is not easy to find.

what a worse campsite! the wading pool is like a fish pond
noisy in the night and no trees !! beware and think twice before u come! u got to bring back your own rubbish as well!! and collect RM150 for deposit cleaning... this is too much and not well maintain for the campsite... not secure at all

⚠不推荐 希望大家看到这个评论！这家不给退押金！不给退押金！露营完说工作人员会检查然后退押金，离开后就不回消息！打电话也不接！押金100RM，虽然不多，但是请大家避坑！主要是环境也很一般，很偏僻，如果花钱可以享受到服务可以接受，全程没有工作人员！价格还贵的离谱！[暗中观察R]
