Beacon Resort

Went for their day package. Was impressed with what they did for this place since I last went here in 2016 (it was then Refreshing Springs Resort). They have upgraded the facilities on top of the existing ones , though quite a few construction works are still ongoing. It would have been a nicer experience without the occasional drilling and busy excavation work done around the main hall.

Nevertheless, the day package includes hot springs, riverside walking, jungle trekking, and aromatherapy. Quite sufficient number of activities for 7 hours. You can go for any of these in any order except for jungle trekking and aromatherapy where they have allocated time slots. I tried their Hydrogen spa (not included), it was quite worth it as I felt very refreshed after the bath, especially after jungle trekking.

Food wise it was average, and with limited selection. I guess it was to keep up with their image as health and wellness themed resort. On cleanliness, it was well kept for their attraction spots, but at places like car park and security post, it can be smelly. It was a mostly rocky roads on the way to the resort. But overall it was still an enjoyable trip, especially for nature lovers.

12 of us took the 2D1N package. Very affordable n worth every penny. Facilities n surrounding areas were well maintained. Tranquil atmosphere, fresh air n really feeling in one with nature. Easy accessibility to the hot spring n river by walking or the buggy. Very friendly n helpful staffs everywhere 😁 will definitely come back again n looking forward to the future planned facilities mentioned in their brochure.

Booked a 3D2N getaway with the family. Right from the beginning we were warmly greeted by the host Dino Goh. After checking in we went for the Hydrogen Spa treatment which is highly recommended as it was so relaxing / refreshing. We also booked a massage session at the spa center. Deborah who manages the spa was very knowledgeable and helpful to explain suitable treatments for us.
Later in the evening, we went to the riverside and soaked in the cool stream followed by a nap on the hammock.
There were some renovations going on but it wasn’t disruptive to our trip. The food is simple but is very tasty. Food lovers would find this to be the highlight of their trip. We went for the jungle tracking at 7 am and the trails were fairly easy as young children were also able to do it. The trail is not treacherous and was well maintained.
It was a trip to be remembered and will definitely go back again!

Now for some FEEDBACK for future improvements:

For the price we’re paying it should at least include some basic toiletries such as hygienic bag, bar soap (I’m allergic to gel body soap), shampoo and cotton buds. It is disappointing to see that there’s only 1 bottle of gel body wash (granted that it’s organic) to be used from head-to-toe.

The resort is nice and suitable to relax and chill.
Good for team building. The food is good and sufficient.

Excellent amenities & accommodation. However Access road (8km stretch was narrow & rocky not tarred). Excellent 4 meals included every 3 hours. I enjoyed the hot springs, Hydrogen Spa (RM42.40 after GST), trekking and great views. 9/10 recommended. 14 of us in this retreat 20-22 May

We went for a 3D2N stay over the week days. The site was very well maintained with security arrangement albeit some landscaping works that did not affect our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor facilities including hot spring, river side and leisury walk. The hydrogen spa was novel too. Importantly, the food was superb with great organic taste with no after-taste of food additives and moderate use of oil; living it up to the notion of healthy meals. The personnel were friendly and well trained: on arrivals, buggy service and at the dining area with prompt actions to clean and clear tables, and serving us during meals. The process of checking-in and -out was seamless too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with a well assured mind that things were well taken care of.

My stay at Beacon Resort exceeded all expectations. Despite arriving late due to heavy traffic, the staff, particularly Sham, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. His considerate calls to check on my arrival and assistance with directions were truly appreciated.

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by Sham. Throughout my stay, the staff's hospitality remained exceptional, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The food at Beacon Resort was exceptional, with organic options that were both delicious and fresh. The coffee, in particular, was a highlight, easily the best I've ever tasted. Even when coffee was not on the dinner menu, the staff graciously accommodated my request, making sure I could enjoy it with my meal.

The amenities at the resort were top-notch. From the clean environment to the superb hot spring and river, every aspect was meticulously maintained. I felt safe and well-cared-for, with staff always nearby to assist.

Meeting the owner, who was equally friendly and welcoming, shed light on the resort's customer-centric approach. This ethos was further exemplified during breakfast, where guests were invited to sample organic products for free. The chicken essence, honey, and apple cider were marvelous, leading me to purchase some to take home.

Overall, my short vacation at Beacon Resort was a delightful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a rejuvenating getaway, filled with exceptional hospitality and serene surroundings.

This place is beyond my expectations. That's all I can say. The place looked new, beautiful and well planned. The food is decent n the service of the staff is fantastic. The hot spring is not too hot, so I felt very relaxed in the pool. The canopies and hammocks along the river banks are great. There are plenty of sitting areas or gazebo along the walkways for gatherings for anyone who want to take a break in the evening.

A relaxing tour with family and friends for gathering. Cheaper price with max 6 persons in a room. About average RM200 ++ per person for 2D1N. Free hand aroma therapy, hot spring and river side, and jungle trekking. Children likes the activities.
The buildings are all in white. Nice place for taking photos.

I’ve seen my fair share of retreat venues, but this one truly stands out. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, the retreat offered a serene escape for our group of 25. The ambiance of the place was immediately welcoming, a perfect blend of comfort and elegance that set the stage for a memorable experience.
Service with a Smile: The staff were the heart and soul of our stay. Their friendliness and eagerness to assist went beyond mere professionalism; it felt like a warm extension of hospitality that made us feel at home. Whether it was accommodating special requests or providing local insights, they did it all with a smile.
A Bump in the Road: The only hiccup in our otherwise smooth retreat was the road leading to the venue. It was a bit bumpy, which could be a concern for those traveling by low-ground-clearance vehicles. However, once you arrive, the initial inconvenience is quickly forgotten as you’re swept up in the charm of the place.
Final Thoughts: This retreat wasn’t just a place to stay; it was an experience that enriched our team spirit and provided a well-deserved break from our daily routines. The minor issue of the road pales in comparison to the overwhelming positives. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an exceptional retreat experience, and I look forward to returning

The resort is great.
The hot spring pools are wonderful.
The Ginger Lily room is fantastic.
Six pax with two double beds and two single beds.
Has two bathrooms and two toilets.
The hiking trail is marvellous.
The in-house food is absolutely delicious.
Especially the chicken pumpkin porridge for breakfast.

We selected the day trip package . Bumpy Road is about 4 km to entrance resort . Registered and parked our car at specific parking . The buggy will send us to the living hall of the resort . Locker is prepared for day trip visitor . Activities for day trips start from 10 am to 5 pm
We can go around the resort to enjoy the surroundings . We started with Riverside, enjoying swimming or water playing and resting at the shelter . A net bed can relax and rest beside the shelter . Enjoying these facilities . After this we went to hot spring . Hot spring water is not too hot. About 1pm buffet lunch provided and food delicious. After lunch we rest for a while 2pm assembly near living hall and we go for jungle trekking. The trail took about 1 hour.
After jungle trekking, we go for Hydrogen Spa with guest price Rm30 and resort provided free hand massage for guest . Tea break about 4pm . I like the green bean very delicious. Checked out after tea break . Enjoyable and relaxed trip . Hope the resort prepares more activities for selection . I will return again for overnight .

In February, I went to beacon resort with my friends. It was really a great place to relax. Whether it’s the environment, accommodation, or food, I can tell you responsibly that it’s super great! I introduced it to my colleagues, who had just gone there and were full of praises! July is the durian season. I heard that durians are available to eat, which makes me excited. I may visit it again!

Did a day trip cos it was fully booked. A great place to "get away" for a day or two. Be aware that about 4km plus of road just before reaching the resort is non tar road. Drive slow and carefully if you use the normal car. Great if you have 4WD or All Wheel Drive vehicles. Staff and security is good and attentive. Food is part of the package and they serve a simple but healthy spread.

I took Jasmine B for 5 pax and we arrived late at 9pm due to some delay at work. Much to my surprised I was offered to have dinner kept in Bento boxes by Dino and his co-partner ; food was warm when we arrived and we even had one last minute vegan order and they complied! The road into the resort at night was quite challenging so try to be there before sun set. My niece from overseas was in love with the room set up and the kids had a good time unwinding from gadgets: trying brief hiking, horse riding, chasing geese and hot spring dip! It would be nice to have an additional really cold pool as the weather was extremely hot. We love James from the dining hall and honest to goodness, it was really really Malaysia own Santorini-like experience. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a day trip to Beacon Resort. I stands out from the other resorts and camps that dot the Tanjung Malim for 3 reasons.
1. Excellent care and service
2. beautiful river and pleasurably fantastic Hot Springs
3. Jungle Walk and constant flow of food to feed people starving from the adventures and exploration of the Resort.

I plan to go many more times and explore the river especially, My company events too are going to be based there from now.

There are stand-out personalities at the front office to the guides and at the the dining area who make the experience memorable...

We went for 2D1N package, everything is well maintained, toilet is clean, room is clean. The river is so clean and private :) Whoever loves nature, this is the best but other than that is some selling of products, beacon mart, kiosk in the restaurants...

Another suggestion was the jungle trekking, the route is easy, simple and well maintained. Since it is easy hence personally feel like do not need a guide/ranger to bring the guests, and do not need a fixed time to go jungle trekking. Suggestion can put few signboards to indicate the directions and keep maintaining the route/rope would be sufficient. Coz on the day we went to jungle trekking, I hope to do another round of hiking but it was not allowed to so. Unless the guest request for a guide/ranger otherwise it was not necessary.

Matcha in the bar and curry kambing in lunch buffet is super duper nice. The matcha here are using niko neko matcha powder and taste awesome.

Staffs are very friendly and polite.

Nice, newly furbished. Clean. We took the kampung style huts, and it can be a bit hot in the afternoon. The food is very nice and freshly cooked. Only got a bit of flies buzzing here and there, cause they raise their chicken nearby. Overall a good and relaxing stay, with hot spring and river. Nice place for getaway.

Very good resort with hot springs ♨, jungle trekking and retreat. Very suitable for family or couples for short weekends vacations, or even a team building site or weeding venues. The Greece Santorini design buildings were absolutely amazing and good for IG story ❤💐

Escape the stress of everyday life at Beacon Resort, the ultimate relaxation destination. Our recent Raya stay in the White Jasmine room was a dream come true. The cozy bed and comfortable pillows made for a peaceful night's sleep.

Our taste buds were in heaven with the generous portions of seafood, meat, veggies, fruits and drinks during the scrumptious Malkata steamboat feast. We enjoyed every moment of the three main attractions: Riverside, hot spring, and jungle trekking, taking in all the natural beauty and adventure.

Although we had a setback when we lost one of our HPs, Mr. Dino's consistent and kind assistance helped us find it within 24 hours. We were impressed with his level of service and grateful for his help.

We left with unforgettable memories and are excited to hear that Beacon Resort is expanding to include a glamping site. We can't wait to return and experience even more from this incredible resort.
