Not a place to visit solo as finding table can be very challenging as you would have to join a long queue for ordering of drinks at the counter, unless you are daring enough to leave your belongings on your table. Tried the chicken rice, wantan mee, kaya butter toast, steamed kaya butter bread, ham and egg with cheese muffin and the pork noodle soup. Chicken meat is tender and the chicken oil rice is very fragrant. Wantan mee actually so-so only as the charsiew quite dry and the noodles can taste a bit of ghee, feels very gelat. Both bread is good with chunks of butter and fragrant pandan kaya. The muffin is quite normal, would have been awesome if the egg had runny yolk. Pork noodle soup was very clear. Only didn't managed to try the char kuay teow but definitely looks good.

Went before Thong Kee branch in Puchong, first tried the original shop. The toast and croissant were great, kuey Teow has the “wok hei”. The aroma of the Hainan cha is amazing

Fantastic hainan coffee - recommend their iced specials! Wanton mee inside is just average but the hainan toast is well worth a try

I love their pan mee. The hainam coffee taste is so good compare with KL branch and is much cheaper. Try not to go on Sunday the queue is very long.

Thong Kee wasn't always that famous in the past - in Bentong, yes, because they are one of the old establishment and unless you go to Bentong often, this place will not ring a bell. That is, until recent years when this name started to sprout in Klang Valley - Pandan Indah, Seapark PJ, Kepong, Puchong, and Glenmarie.

The younger generations of the original Thong Kee were the one that started the evolution and expanded their operations. Sometimes I'd go to their Seapark branch just for their cup of tea... food-wise unless you go for their toast and egg, the rest will depends on the stall operators.

The original Thong Kee in Bentong however, have since adapted to new ordering style using tablet for more efficiency. A lot of nice food stalls plying their trade here. One of them is the wantan mee but this time I didn't order.

◾their teh/kopi are one of the better ones around... And I particularly like their signature 1+1 which is basically cham (teh + kopi) which packed with the power to kick-start any caffeine addict's day
◾Kaya & butter croissant - of course they have regular bread but croissant is one of their main draw here.
◾char kuey teow - located at the back of the restaurant, this stall is own of the most popular ones.
◾"man zhai" ham sap gai pei fan - new kid on the block... The ham sap chicken was very good, both taste- and texture-wise. I ordered few extra pieces of chicken as I could not get enough of this perfectly roasted poultry. Good to go with rice definitely...
◾Yong taufu - if you do not know already, Bentong is also famous for its taufu pok and I ordered few pieces of taufu pok stuffed with fish paste plus the fish ball itself.

On weekends, it was packed with people - both locals and outstations - as this town is very popular with one-day-trip tourists.

P.S: Before someone highlights, these pictures were taken pre-MCO so do not overreact 🙏🏻

A cup of nice traditional coffee. A bowl of qq noodles. Chicken meat is tender. This is a food court style coffee shop. Tell them your table number when you make order.

We arrived at Thong Kee on a Friday morning. After queueing, just go and grab your seat. While waiting for a seat, someone else from behind us took the seats. 👀

The char kuey tiao was really, really good and had wok hei but not a big portion if you order regular. It's good if you want to mix and match different food to share with your family. Place your order separately at the back.

Order coffee, croissants and muffins at the front. The muffin is English muffin (like McD breakfast version). The croissants are big and tasty! We ordered the butter and kaya, and ham and egg ones. Both were very, very good. So was the muffin (3-in-1).

The coffee (kopi peng) was nice but order the big version if you like coffee haha. If you'd like to get some Bentong ginger nearby, go to Ling Kee kopitiam within walking distance. RM26/kg for the really good ones and RM16/kg for the decent ones. We got the RM16/kg one.

My favourite 🧀 cheese ham croissant 🥐. I love this kopitiam style croissant and salty ham. Goes well with an iced ☕ coffee.
I don't think this place is pet friendly but I was allowed to sit outside in a corner with my dog. Best to ask if dogs are allowed before sitting down to eat.

Took lunch here. It was the infamous mee hoon kueh!

Boss told me it will be hand-pulled mee hoon kueh to my delight.

Taste was great. Chilli was nice.

Price, nothg to worry about.

Ambience, just another kopitiam type.

Parking, along the road.

If u asked me, its perfect comfort food for any afternoon.

The place was packed when I came around 9AM on a Saturday. We had to queue up for a while but the queue was fast and we got a spot around 15 minutes.

We ordered the tea/coffee mix together with the Hainan Bread and Soft-boiled Egg. The bread and egg are good, but I've tasted better. The tea/coffee (forgot the name) is amazing. Very thick and really good for a morning breakfast.

Great place, surely will come again.

Authentic Thong Kee 1+1. Definitely will drop by whenever I'm heading to Kuantan. The pan mee is the best I've ever tasted.

When in Bentong, definitely need to come this Kopitiam place. They served some unique typical Kopitiam style food & drinks. Also there is a store that sell here the famous Wantan Mee...

I personally love the noodles & need to pair with the Yong Taufu Pok. The price it's quite reasonable with a big portion for a person i can say

Original Thong Kee. Best for their Hainan Teh, butter-kaya bread or croissant. Also good at this restaurant the wantan mee and salted chicken leg.

Good place for breakfast. I liked their traditional coffee and chamsi (mixture of coffee and tea with evaporated milk). Also liked their black sauce pan mee.
