This cafe is a great find in Sandakan! The place is beautiful and comfy. The personnel is friendly and lovely. The food is tasty and flavourful. I ate the fish and chips and my husband, the carbonara pasta. He also ordered a strawberry latte. The price is quite affordable. Yet, we got a little yellow duck as a souvenir for free. Glad to find this two-storey coffee shop in Sandakan that delivers cozy vibes, nice customer service as well as food and coffee.

We had a set of drink and cake, RM15.9+3, reasonable and yummy.

Mine is Nitro Spanish latte and milk cheese toasted bread. Nitro is from those taps (similar to daughter beer)making the coffee even smoother.

More fascinating to me is the coffee roasting machine here, thanks barista Michael’s detailed sharing and hand drip coffee.
As a coffee lover, I highly recommend to enjoy cups of hand-drip here, you will definitely love it!

Overall dining experience is nice and finally I bring 3 bags of fresh roasted beans back.

We ordered coffee for takeaway because the kitchen wasn't ready before 8.30am to order food. The coffee was very good and fragrant. Must visit for coffee lovers. The ambience and interior was aesthetically pleasing, definitely IG worthy.

Very nice place. Love the decorations. Very aesthetic. I would love to hang around longer. Should have come earlier. Close at 8pm if im not mistaken

ordered chicken wrapped - nice. Delicious sauce.
Chocolate mint drink - the best. Taste like the after eight's chocolate.
Mocha strawberry drink - strong mocha flavour. Not bad
Ufo tart - unique taste

Parking: in front of the cafe but first come first served.

Price: reasonable. N worth it

Our favourite coffee in Sabah so far! Breakfast was also delicious. Lovely service and beautiful interior. Can tell a lot of work has been put into making this place great.

extremely accommodating staff and delicious coffees. cakes could use a bit more updating and flavor but the variety of snacks is great. location is also a very short walk to the shore or bus station. id say it id a tad pricey for the area but compared to other countries, the vibe and value here is incredible

As the name Boldly suggests No1 and does not disappoint. Beautiful coffee. Location service all 5 stars. Absolutely worth a visit(or 2)

From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the design of the space. But what really impressed me was the quality and price of the food and drinks. I ordered few drinks, beef meatball spaghetti and cheesy fries and it was so delicious🤤. The pasta was perfectly cooked. Speaking of price, I found the cafe to be very reasonably priced. Given the quality of the food and drinks, I expected to pay more than I did.
I need to mention one of the best parts of the cafe - the staff!❤ The girl who was upstairs was incredibly kind and friendly, always with a smile on her face. She made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. It's always a pleasure to be served by someone who truly enjoys their job and takes pride in making their customers happy. Also need to mention Mike. This guy remembered our names all day, it was insane. Such a nice person.
All in all, I highly recommend this cafe. Whether you're looking for a spot to catch up with friends over a cup of coffee or a place to enjoy a delicious meal, this cafe has it all 😊

Very nice and relaxed coffee place! Try the Keto coffee it is really delicious! Foodwise we tried the Club Sandwich and the Chicken King Burger which was absolutely banging! Go for the place if you trying to escape the heat of Sandakan and “revitalize” to jazz and coffee :)

Came here for a coffee and a chicken burger and came back the next day.
The staff were friendly, Mike who works there was fantastic and welcoming and does a good brew! Great selections of coffee and great atmosphere, particularly the upstairs section, which is good for digital nomads to sit with a laptop and work away.

Very, very good cappuccino and also oatmilk cappuccino. Outstanding service from Michael who made us two cappuccino with different types of milk in less than 5 minutes so we could catch our Grab in time to get to the airport!

Best hot chocolate I've had for quite a long while. As their name states - probably the best in Sandakan.

Best coffee in Sandakan town, food is delicious too - chicken burger and club sandwich were great. Lovely staff and chill environment with lots of tables upstairs too.

Been here a few times and tried a few different coffees; they all tasted fantastic. Owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming. Great place to chill or read a book. I bought some beans that were freshly roasted. Absolutely recommended!

Relatively upscale coffee place that offers on-the-spot roasting. Clearly a popular choice among locals and having beans freshly roasted in front of us was a plus. A pity they don't sell filter coffee given that they have single origins but perhaps it will soon become a viable offering as the coffee scene in Sandakan continues to develop.

Wonderful modern cafe, would easily rate well even in my home country of Australia. Burger was yum, coffee was delicious. Just need to get rid of the unnecessary plastic please 🙇

Unique coffee roastery that is deffenitely worth a visit when you are in town! The friendly host Michael explained us that all the coffee is locally roasted and brewed at room temperature, after which it is infused with nitrogen. All coffees are tapped trough what looks like beer taps, as well as all the milks and additions for the coffee mixes. The method results in a coffee that is almost like a light porter.
