Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of partaking in the Ramadhan dinner buffet at Plantation Café, located within the esteemed Sabah Hotel. This experience was nothing short of remarkable. The café's presentation of the buffet was impeccably organized, showcasing an abundant selection of cuisines ranging from Malay, Chinese, and Indian, to Western, all of which were exceptionally flavourful and inviting. A standout was undoubtedly the grilled lamb and satay, each bite echoing the perfect symphony of grilling mastery.

The café's festive décor and ambiance added a layer of warmth and joy to our dining experience, creating an environment that was both inviting and celebratory. The attention and responsiveness of the staff were commendable, enhancing our experience with their attentive service. Remarkably, the presence of the hotel’s F&B managers and directors, who took the time to mingle with guests, added a personalized touch that did not go unnoticed.

Despite the sizable gathering, the café managed a seamless flow, offering both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements that avoided any sense of overcrowding. This thoughtful layout allowed for effortless navigation with a plate full of delectable choices in one hand and a drink in the other, embodying the very essence of hospitality.

Plantation Café’s Ramadhan buffet stands out as a premier culinary destination in Sandakan, offering an unrivalled buffet experience that I would not only highly recommend but am eager to revisit. This establishment truly sets the bar for quality dining during the festive Ramadhan period.

The stuff are friendly and the food is good

The food is here ia great! It tasty and value for money. The service is also very good and friendly. I have been eating here before MCO, during recovery phase and up to now. They maintain the level of service which is applaudable. Kudos and keep it up!

It is a chinese restaurant inside of sabah hotel. Place was full of reservations when i visited. Parking is a problem. Food was nice especially the peking duck.

Came during Ramadhan buffet. What a spread of buffet they have. Very worth it, compared to much higher priced and overrated Ramadhan buffet in KK. Will definitely repeat again next year Ramadhan

If you're looking for an accommodation in Sandakhan, definitely go to the Sabbah hotel where the Plantation Cafe will welcome you for a nice lunch or dinner by the pool.

Lunch and dinner buffet selection is excellent, the lamb is unique, with the main course is good for your appetite. The dessert selection is numerous despite considering the number of pax visiting during the lunch. Slightly pricey, but you can get discount by stay and dine reward app by sabah Hotel.

Very nice breakfast buffet inclusive of curry chicken , porridge and omelete station. Saw the dinner menu at very reasonable price with luxury service.
