The Old Mark Cafe

Main attraction here is the souffle pancakes, got some unique flavours. We got the thai milk tea pancake and it did not disappoint🤩
Besides that, the regular food on the menu was average, like usual with other cafes around the area. Nice place to chill and hangout or study also.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and the barista and waiting staff super friendly. Provided sparkling water at no extra charge. In Malaysia, you would get charge RM10 per cup of that. Super friendly!

There is also plenty of parking here. Despite cafe is nearly full but I was able to focus on working on laptop.

I haven’t got the chance to try the food but will definitely come again to try.

The Peach Souffles are soft, fluffy and refreshing. Other flavors look good as well especially the tiramisu but we didn't get to try it as we're quite full from lunch. Would come back for the souffles.

Food is superb especially the souffle and tiramisu!! Not too sweet and spongy. Worth a visit. However need to wait for half hour as seats are quite limited. Drinks average.

Very crowded on the weekend but sitting was no wait. Food was good only waited around 20min for the soufflé. Pricing was just OK.

The ambiance here is really calm and aesthetic. The soufflé was too creamy for me; I can’t finish it. I shouldn’t go for whites nutty; btw, it cost me RM19.00 for whites nutty. The Butter Garlic Chicken Rice Bowl, which costs RM20, is also not for me. I think maybe they can offer a better choice for the food range. Something spicy, like aglio olio, etc. I love the vanilla latte (RM14) and the honey citrus (RM13). Overall, I think they can offer a better choice of food. Ambiance is perfect! This is the second time I have visited here.

Modern style cafe. Tried the signature soufflé pancake, the white nutty. Tasty and fluffy. Worth a try.

Love this cafe, the Tiramisu soufflé is not too sweet and it's really good.
Their vanilla iced latte taste and look lovely.
Overall the cafe is both aesthetic and serve delicious food at same time, highly recommend it.

Very well worth the visit with the best breakfast that we've had on our trip thus far. The Big Breakfast definitely did not fail to meet expectations with everything you could ask for (including a wonderful thick slice of toast and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs). We also ordered the Peach Pancake Souffles which was an absolute treat to look at and eat. I definitely recommend dropping by for some good grub and good times.

How I wish I got the recipe of the seafood tomyum pasta. Really well cooked and seasoned. Don't need to comment much on the soufflé. It always exceeds expectations. Worth every penny.

Comfy and cozy environment, good services and pretty delicious desserts! The coffees were on point. Highly recommended.

So with FMCO in place, couldn’t drop by to eat but very interested in trying the place out. Ordered on grab and the delivery took some time, guess food needed more time to prepare but the packaging is so tidy! And food taste so nice. Ordered big breakfast, chicken bacon eggs sandwich and shrimp salad. Shrimp salad nicee and super happy with the meal. Hope to drop by one day when we are allowed to eat in after pandemic.

One of the best service cafes I've ever been to. The souffle pancakes are to die for. The ambience is nice just a little noisy/crowdy. But it's not avoidable since it's good and there's many people will be flooding over. Definitely will be back for more soufflés 😋😋😋

The Old Mark Cafe in Melaka is a popular cafe that serves a range of Western and Asian cuisine. They come in a variety of flavours including chocolate, vanilla, green tea and tiramisu. Fluffy & delicious and served with ice cream, honey & whipped cream.

Nice cafe and cosy environment to relax. Ordered cappuccino, rich chocolate cake, tiramisu souffle and onion rings. Not a fan of desserts but yeah everything tasted good especially their souffle is a must try. Staff is very kind and friendly. Service is good. Strategic location and parking is convenient in front of/nearby the cafe. Will definitely visit again to try other menu. TQ

5 stars for the soufflé. The place had been renovated slightly (maybe new management). The price of food is decent (not cheap not expensive). Food taste is good.

Creamy pasta is awesome. Felt traditional carbonara.

Big breakfast is nice too but lack baked beans.

Not bad. Serves free drinking water which is essential. Good coffee and food. Could feel that the chef is passionate about his cooking.
