冠南咖啡店/ Kedai Kopi Kuan Nan

One of the best white chicken Rice/Kuey Teow in Penang. Purposely Crossed the bridge to having it during the night.

The chicken rice is exceptionally tender (even the breast portion). I prefer this over the Low Wong Ipoh chicken rice.

The place is super packed and the service is a bit slow though. A MUST try even with the waiting.

Best f*ckin Steamed/Boiled Chicken Rice I’ve had in Malaysia! Can even beat the ones in Singapore! Super affordable too, get the set meals with rice, meat, soup and taugeh vegetables! SOOO GOOD I WILL DRIVE ACROSS THE BRIDGE JUST TO EAT THIS.

It's quite congested among tables and one of the waiters moves too quickly to serve drinks! Multiple-choices of local cuisine can be found here! But lunch hour is a nightmare to find a table for dine-in! The drinks, pay first, serve later. The floor, better don't take a look before you finish your meal.

An extensive selection of food choices, and the Yun Tun Mee is an absolute standout. A culinary delight for anyone seeking a tasty variety!

The fried Rice, char kuey tiaw and lobak is the best around town. A MUST try. 😉
P.S. Avoid the Western Food shop. I saw a piece of chicken falling on the muddy floor. The aunty just picked it up and simply rinsed it 🥴

Quick meal, tasty enough for breakfast in 10 min. Spent 13RM including black coffee.

Many verities of Chinese foods here. And many types of drinks too.all reasonably priced. Fast service, friendly people and the servers too are decent and friendly. If around Chai Leng Area do pop in and enjoy the foods.

Since I shifted to Penang 3 years back, this has been my number one spot for breakfast or lunch at times.

Some need to know that there are 2 owners at this place. One operates from morning till about 3. Another one starts at 4pm onwards till night. Two different drinks counter. Prefer the morning one.

Recommend Char kuey tiow, Lo Bak, Wanton Mee, Prawn Mee, and White curry mee. The nasi kerabu and chicken rice is not bad too. Not forgetting the toasted bread and half boiled eggs.

Bustling place. A good variety of food. Drinks (Kopi and teh) were delicious. Food is ... up to personal preference I guess hehe.

This place is super crowded after 9am. Lots of food to eat from hokkien Mee, wantanmee, Cha kuey tiao, lobak, dimsum. The best is Cha kuey tiao, but pricey, always 50cents above other
