Grand Riverview Hotel

For a day or two in Kota Bharu, I’d say this is a wonderful hotel. The room is huge and so is the bed, which is the most comfortable I’ve slept. The staff is kind and helpful. The location is also very good, with loads of restaurants (from local cuisine to the Chinese one) near by. Highly recommended! Thank you so much ❤

Not far away from Siti Khadijah Market and restaurants, within walking distance. Helpful receptionist for early check in and car rental. Spacious room and clean. Pool wasn't clear during our stay.

We are here for their dim sum buffet. Really the best dim sum in town! We have tried several restaurants and hotel dim sums. The dim sum here is the best, does not have "hotel-taste", very authentic despite that it is using halal ingredients. A lot of varieties here. We do enjoy the ambience and the services by the staffs too. So friendly and helpful.

Considering hotels located near to HRPZ, this hotel seemed to have the best offer within that particular price range between RM100-200. Not too cheap to be a shabby place, yet not too pricey to be overpriced. The ambience is quite luxurious, and cleanliness is good. Booked a room including breakfast, and the food was superb. I would highly recommend the roti jala. The only disapproval: we had a late check-in around 10.30pm, and coincidentally there was some kind of event just finished that time. There were people loitering around the lobby talking in loud noises, and some were smoking near the entrance. Definitely not a good first impression for guests who just arrived, but still, the overall experience is still good and worth it. Thumbs up.

The food was great especially the in room service nasi goreng. Awesome. I like so much. Well done to the cook

Great hotel and panaromic view facing the river. Comfy bed and spacious room, strong WiFi signal, complete gym and usable facility, ample of free parking at basement and superb hospitality. Good choice for work or play

My first time here. What can I say... Just marvelous.

The staff - top notch.
The breakfast buffet - worth the value, hit the taste bud.
Room - ample and spacious.
Security - felt safe.

If possible, take the VIP park, a lot of ease.

In my opinion, the best hotel in Kota Bharu. Rooms are big and clean and they even give to customers a lot of complementary objects.
The restaurants in the hotel served amazing food. The position of the hotel is absolutely amazing and allowed anyone to reach the city center just with a small walk.
If you go to Kota Bharu, don’t esitate: waste your time and book Grand Riverview Hotel! You will not regret it!

Went here for business trip organised by company.

Pros:
+ Good location. Not too crowded area.
+ Despite room in old condition, but it’s ok. Confortable stay.
+ Breakfast was good and adequate.
+ Small size pool to enjoy.

Cons (can be improve in near future)
- Limited underground parking.
- Cleanliness of the bathroom especially toilet bowl need to improve asap.

I guess it worth the price. Recommended.

This time, we stayed for 1 nite....not bad. Pleasant n had a good sleep.

We stay for 4 nights and the room is facing the river. It's nice scenery. The room is clean. Bathroom also clean. The air-conditioning is very good. Various of breakfast menu and they are all marvellous!
Only 1 time we have difficulty to enter the room because of stuck-lock. However, the maintenance personnel promptly attended. All staffs are polite. We are happy staying in this hotel!

Room is so spacious but a bit old. Housekeeping staff is very helpful. The basement parking however is quite limited and no access from the basement to the lobby. You may drop your luggage, elderly or kids in front of the hotel entrance thou.

The breakfast served is a normal Malaysian Menu. Nasi Lemak with variety of side dishes. Western selection like sausages, breads, cereal.

The room service menu price is quite expensive.

Overall, suitable for our short stay.

Great service & experience! Stay 3d2n here and get KB's view for our room. Room was okay & in a good condition. Choose 1 king bed and add 1 super single bed (RM100/night). The breakfast's menu was great & love the coffee! Recommended 🔥

Nice room. Nice spacious bathroom, could be cleaner. COLD place, wish someone told me that they're not easygoing with their air conditioner. Otherwise, very happy having workshop here.

Room no. 716 - facing Kelantan River. Stayed one night on 16/12/2021. The hotel room is very good, clean, tidy, nice. TV got some channels to watch. The bed is comfortable, got extra pillow in the wardrobe. There is also a sofa next to the bed. Bottle water, 3in1 sachets, fridge, were also provided. Nice view facing Kelantan River. However, the room was extremely cold, cannot be adjusted the temperature. We decided to switch off the aircond during whole night. Perhaps the temperature was centralised for each floor. The bathroom is good as well, got shower and bath tub. However, the bath tub is leaking, cannot use to have bath-relaxing time there unless you put something to cover the hole, as the lid was gone/missing. Iron and praying mat were provided as well. Carpark is spacious, easy to park. The breakfast menu during my stay were nasi goreng, nasi kerabu, mee goreng, bread and buns. Tea, coffee, fresh milk, orange juice, guava juice were there too. At one corner, got a cook to serve you omelette, sausages, and hams upon request. The omelette is very delicious, as I've been at many hotels before, but some of them couldn't manage to serve nice omelette like here. Got swimming pool too for adults and children. Gym room was closed during my stay. The lobby was so majestic, wonderful stairs and elevators. I'd love to capture memorable photos here with family. Lots of restaurants too near the hotel within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff as well at the hotel. Thank you so much Grand Riverview Hotel. With the price RM170++ like this per night, sure we'll not hesitate to come here again in the future.
