Been here since year 2000..nice n friendly DR n staff..

Dr. Low is very experience, he can diagnose sickness and pain quickly. But because he is so good, his services are in high demand. He has lots of patients so we need to wait in queue which can be up to 20 to 30 min.

Located near Plaza Pelangi. Wait times approximately 25 mins in the morning. Resident doctor was trained in Australia, spoke good English and had a pleasant disposition. Took the heart rate, blood pressure, temperature and used a stethoscope to hear the condition of lungs. Conducted a thorough examination for my influenza, examining nasal passages, sinus cavities by pressing on facial areas (cheeks & forehead). Examined mouth and had me lie down. Here he pressed the tummy. Some questions followed. Explained the drugs he was prescribing. Exhibited good beside manners, patiently listening to my description.

Nurses were able to dispense meds within a few minutes and elaborated on dosage. MC was not offered but is available on request.

Clinic is clean, though simple yet airy. Magazines available while waiting.
Sign posted says to inform the nurses if urgent medical attention is required.

Examination and meds cost RM65 (USD 17, SGD 22). Reasonable.

Parking is available outside the clinic, though getting a spot may be difficult during peak periods as there are several popular restaurants in that locality.

This is good clinic i always go here when im not feeling well but sometimes got alot of people so need to wait a bit longer. Hee

Friendly and chatty doctor. However, there is tardiness issue in this clinic as they never open the clinic on time with at least 30 mins delay. There was one occasion where we had to wait for 45 minutes even the clinic should be reopened at 2pm after lunch time. The lame excuse given by the doctor was that he was rushing from his CNY visiting. Typical olden days doctor who just brush off the patient by replying “It’s complicated” when being asked for more information. Patients are educated these days, hence explanations is required for patients to know/ decide what is best for them in term of treatments/ remedies. Lately, we have discovered a clinic with very professional doctors with detailed explanations. The clinic is at Setia Tropika, namely Klinik Lai.
