New York Hotel

Every year our family must break the fast at this hotel. compared to other hotels that mostly focus on western food, but this hotel still maintains Malay traditional food. various types of food prepared and very tasty.the most special is their fried durian. the best among other hotels. apart from that, the staffs are also friendly and capable. the bathroom is also very close to the restaurant and is clean, always well maintained. If you are looking for traditional Malay food for breaking fast, I recommend this hotel. Definitely will comeback every year👍

Stay here for iftar - repeat every year for buffet ramadhan here.
There are many choices of food and all are tasty, delicious.
I am proud with the food quality and menu provided by the chef regardless lot of viral food presence outside nowadays but less quality and awful taste.

Usually when I go to jb for a stay cation, I will stay at KSL or hoilday inn hotel...
Happened that the hotels are fully booked in the weekend... so I decided to stay at another hotel. Came across this hotel. I got a promotion at the apps... so i decided to book it. Manage to get a big room! 😀 I'm very happy 😊

The room is very clean and comfortable.
The receptionist and the doorman are very friendly also!
I request for a late check out, they allowed me to stay until 1pm! (It is good enough)
Carpark is free for guest (you have to pass them your touch & go card)

Nearby got alot of dining places that you can choose! Like Halal restaurants, seafood restaurant, Chinese restaurant and etc....
And besides the hotel got a very nice massage place too. Walk further down, got Thai restaurants or pub. You won't feel bored around the area

Strategic location and nice view. Booking with traveloka and get cheap price with bathtub room. Spacious room and comfortable. Feel old vibe but overall okay. Breakfast 3/5.

Need to know:
1) Parking at 3-5 floor. Kalau nak keluar, pergi reception counter and dapatkan chop. Free parking.
2) Ada bilik yang ada bathtub, ada yang ada shower je.

The food iftar here at Newyork hotel very good nice , and delicious price ofcourse affordable not only that the staffs friendly too I will return back for next year..Tq

i have issues in the 1st room and was quickly given replacement room. hotel staff was very helpful, warm, nice and professional. parking is on level 3 and ample. only downside are room and equipment like tv, kettle, wall plug etc is a bit worn out and could improve. i recommend this hotel fully

Large room, comfy bed, comfy pillows, extra king bed. Shower wise to hv warm water just turn on the hot tap and wait. Bath tub stained yellow due to age but that is ok. Breakfast is good. Staff is aware of allergens. Overall great experience for the price! Try the 24h satay opposite

Was told one of the oldest hotel in town. To be honest, still very much ok - the condition. For an old hotel, there is totally no complaint, room was spacious, with tub and working facilities. Value for money

I love the ambience of this hotel. It has swimming pool, spa, gym, and sauna. The restaurant only serves breakfast but there are various nearby restaurants if you're hungry.

The room that I booked is quite wide with bath tub. Really love that the bath tub is spacious and the water pressure is high. Even the hot and cold water work fine.

When we were there, the elevator was under maintenance, so it was a bit annoying. Hopefully it is getting better.

Nice and clean hotel, plenty parking space, food is nice but lift is complicating...enjoyed 3 days 2 night stay

Nice place for a short stay and includes breakfast. The spread is not wide but tasty. Complimentary carpark. There are pubs and live song nearby. Quite happening. The hotel is very big and high floor, nice view.

Stayed here a few times before when coming over to Johor and the location is just right. Nearby to many food places around and malls are nearby as well. Room are ok but definitely needs a refresh of the interiors. Buffet breakfast is good and parking is complementary for guests.

Strategic location if you a nightlife lover.
Food is available outside the hotel, wheter all you can eat buffet to a street coffee shop where you just hang out with your friend.

Hostel staff are very friendly and accommodating..been here already more than 5 times and we still want to come as often as possible.. And we love the sauna...

Love the room, love the foods. Staff very friendly and breakfast are top tier. But the mini mart inside here don't take cards. Need to prepare cash in hand just in case
