Grand Paragon Hotel, Johor Bahru

Stayed in Sept 2023. The room is spacious. Hallway is cold. The aircon in the room is cold. We turned it off, but still, it is cold. Bed is surprisingly comfortable even though it is hard. Like 9/10 hardness. The pillow is comfortable, too.

Kettle, fridge (almost not cooling because of too much ice) TV, hair dryer, cabinet, towels, shampoo, slippers, glass, toothbrush, hair cap are provided.

I think they did a revamping on the facilities, including the rooms. Though there could be some minor flaws, with its price, it is acceptable!

View can not be appreciated because the window is covered with fungi?

Buffet breakfast has quite a good selection. Service is good. Overall, stay is great. Will consider staying again.

Friendly receptionist, staying in the Junior Suite. Nice, clean and big room. Convenient location for Pasar Malam (night market) and to KSL Mall.

Our group was there from 23.09.23 to 24.09 23 for the feast day of St. Padre Pio at the Friary in Ulu Tiram and were more than pleasantly surprised with the hotel! Greeted at reception by Tasha and later Fikri and others was really nice. Bookings were done thru the most friendly and helpful Ms. Normawati or Wati as I addressed her.
Ms. Tasha was most helpful as she assisted with our room keys when few of us could not enter our rooms. Fikri advised us on choice of rooms (walkin shower) for our next booking as most in our group did not go for the "tub".
I was assured by Ms. Wati that the hotel would give us only rooms with walkin showers next when we are there in September 2024!

Had a buffet lunch with family on National Day. It was absolutely amazing experience as all of the delicacies were delicious with reasonable price. The food were wide range of variety from Asian to Western, the tastes were absolutely indulging. Will come again for the food.

Nice place to hangout with friends can have spa, the manager is generous. You can use the spa facility and stay there for long. They have great sauna bath, hot pool and cold pool. They also have free food and can customize as well.

Love the room, so spacious and clean. I had the corner room so the toilet was huge.

A great location with multiple interesting facilities / tourist attactraction nearby. The rooms are cosy and the mattress are in good quality. The bathtub is great. It has a moderate size swimming pool with great sunshade in the morning. However, it will be quite hot in the evening. The swimming pool provide a good place to see the sunset.

The staffs are friendly and able to cater to your demand.

Already third time staying here. Can say my top-notch hotel at JB. The room is very comfort and large bathroom. The swimming located outdoor with exceptional view. You can see Mt. Pulai from here. Steam bath also available here. The breakfast also among the best for 4 star hotel. Really enjoyed my day here. 😄😄😄

The room is spacious and exact to photo. The breakfast is a steal and worth the price! Minor comment is that the light is dim and air conditioner temperature cannot be adjusted. So the room is very cold and there is no ventilation is the bathroom. But overall its a very nice stay for 4star hotel and the price is reasonable.

I think this is the 7th time me and wifey check in to this hotel. For me personally, I like this hotel because it is located in a prime area where we can go to lots of places within the vicinity. Also I like the warm welcome of the staff every time I check in here. Very smooth and friendly. Lastly, I enjoyed the breakfast with lots of choices from nasi lemak to pastries!!! Will come again.

I had a wonderful experience staying in d hotel for our Church Camp. I encountered a few very pleasant fellow Christians but on whole many were rude, bringing with them d typical Sporean behaviours with them. No thank you to people who hold elevator for them, no apologies bumping over people.

Heard many sermons on honour to Parents, Siblings n friends but most Christians don't walk d talk.

The room is spacious, clean and all in working order.

I had to write it out to express our pleasant stay in this hotel. The check in process is smoothly and we got it last min booking. The room size and bed size are extremely beyond my expectation. Good view from the room. The most important is the price is reasonable and near to city. Behind the hotel is a hawker food center and the Satays were delicious. I can say this is one of the most worthwhile and conformable hotels we stayed j. JOHOR. So far we had stayed more than 6,7 hotels in Johor. The breakfast buffet is clean and variety of foods, can't compare to some 5 stars hotels but definitely above the average. I am quite a demanding consumer but I can tell you I will definitely book again when we come to Johor again. Thanks

1) bath room : is flooding , water doesn’t discharge fast enough, shower head is flicking left and right , water doesn’t flow evenly out from the shower , and the hole holding the shower is visible 2) I stay here frequent, but the towel is old and looks liw quality , it should be replaced . 2) the mattress , bed sheet looks old and tired , should be replaced. 3) position as 4 stars premium hotel, but I rate the level is not up to as claimed.

Spacious twin sharing room. Comfortable super single beds. Can fit for two actually. Our 3 days 2 nights stay was great. Had good time. The valet parking excellent. We didnt go anywhere till the last night there. Very cool room and bathroom. Awesome👍🏻

Comfy & clean although the in-room furnishings are slightly dated. Excellent breakfast spread. Walking distance to KSL.

Very reasonably priced for a last min hotel, and at their newly renovated wing. Highly recommended! Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, pillows are of good quality. Bath area is clean and amenities well stocked.

Front desk was nice enough to provide a sea view room on high floor. Great views overlooking the peninsular towards Singapore.

Free parking available, just have the counter validate your ticket before you leave.

Serving my 14-days quarantine here. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Been asking for replenish of toiletries from time to time and they will send very soon. Room is very clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. A small fridge is equipped in the room too. WiFi speed is ok.
