Hallmark Regency Hotel Johor Bahru

Spent a night at the hotel, just sleep and go type of place, nothing much in the hotel nor the room itself. The room is clean and you'll find the necessary amenities available in the room. Bed and pillows are comfortable.
The booking came with breakfast and there were 4 or 5 hot foods available. Just had some fried noodles and toast with coffee.
There is a small alley beside the hotel that leads to a food court which was ideal for me to settle my dinner. But i only discovered the room service menu in the room upon return from dinner, so I didn't try out the room service, the menu prices are quite cheap around rm20.

I got nothing to complain about this hotel.

I checked in on the 16/10/23 and checked out on 22/10/23.
I was assigned to room 502.
The room was clean, room services was fast and no delays.
I paid RM 50 as deposit and this was considered cheap.
Collection of deposit is the standard practice across all hotels.
The breakfast at Hallmark Cafe was acceptable for the cheap rate I paid for the room.
Services was fantastic.
I would like to specially mentioned this staff at Hallmark Cafe, Ms Geeta.
She opened the door at 7am sharp and her smile and greeting for the guests make our day.
Her services was above average.
Another staff who deserves a praise is the Chinese man stationed at the main door.
He greeted me with a nod and a smile every day.
He is sharp monitoring all passerbys and vehicles.
I felt safe staying in this hotel.
Location of this hotel was good and easy accessible.

Transportation by Grab was fast and without delays.
I would definitely comeback to this hotel on my next visit.

Clean room, very spacious. Book for 3 adult room but they gave 4 adult room ie 1 queen bed & 2 single beds. The reception, a handsome sibu's guy is very friendly & helpful. The hotel provide cold & hot drinking water at lift entrance. Easy to get drinking water. I booked deluxe room. It equip with full facility, minibar, safety box, kettle, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, extra pillow, lots of shower cream, lots of tooth brush & toothpaste etc etc. The only things lack is parking space. The rest awesome n splendid 🤩

They gave me discount to stay through Agoda. It was a nice room and hotel. Sufficient service and location with reasonable price for business trip.

A nice stay. Room a little dated but service and location near two malls what we wanted.

I doubted at first too book the hotel because of mix reviews. However I was very satisfied with the hotel. It's just 500m from KS mall. Location not in the tourist spot attractions but not far either. We booked family room. The room is quite big with 1 Queen bed and 2 twin beds. Room is with old carpet but quite clean. We don't have any allergy issue so it's not a problem to stay in the room. Aircon works very well. There is fridge also. Water kettle, coffee tea. Complete toiletries. Water heater was good. Our room have window but can't be opened. The highlight was the breakfast. Quite complete. Overall recommended 👌

I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. I booked a single room, and they provided me with double room (for the same price). The room was spacious and comfy. Complimentary breakfast was good. Recommended.

Room is air-conditioned. My room has its own air conditioner. Relatively clean. Every floor has a hot/cold water dispenser.

Room was spacious and decent. Location was not far from Pelangi, walking distance.

3 star hotel. Mould on chair. Disgusting. Near KSL mall. Be prepared to walk 10min each way.

Hotel lobby was so stuffy, no air con. Day room was smelly and sink was choked. No windows at all like the one shown on the internet. Overall, not acceptable and very rude staff (charge you for everything).

Loved the fast express check in. The room was spacious and clean. Everything i needed in a hotel stay. Bottled water given. Toilet was clean and was pleasantly surprised at the automatic japanese seat toilet. Nice touch. Good mattress and linen. My sleep was really good. The lobby is spacious too with lots of comfy seats. I liked their orderly arrangement of foodpanda and grabfood station. Best of all, they have in house consultation medical person just in case you get sick. Just need to scan the code.

The room is quite spacious, have the basic amenities, they do have air purifier. The wifi is so-so. Breakfast buffet is ok, quite fulfilling. They do have a mini dobi at the ground level but it was out of service. And also some vending machines. Just make sure to ask the counter first about which mineral water at certain part at your room is free or you need to paid for it.

Highly recommended! The food, although limited in choices, but it was delicious!

This is fine for a night trip in JB. Room is cleaned. Toilet with bidet and attached bathtub. You may request a room with a queen size bed and 2 super single bed if you have big family.

Room is clean and spacious. Bed is comfy. There are 2 extra pillows. Only downside is there is no designated parking. You have to park your car at public parking spaces in front of the hotel.

Beyond my expectations.... That is the only word I have. I took a family room. Expected a cramped up room and enough beds for us to rest. Bcoz the price I got thru booking.com was very attractive.
But I was wrong. The room is very spacious, beds are very comfortable. I got the family room which had 1 queen bed and 2 single bed. Is very comfortable. Room is very clean spacious has a very nice bathroom room with bath tub in it. Very modern toiletries fittings. They even have lights in the shower 🚿. The colourful lights just made shower time more interesting. Very good water pressure.
This room has everything you ever need.
Minibar fridge complete with can drinks, enough coffee packs, iron and board in the wardrobe, hair dryer, tooth brush and paste complete with other toiletries.
The most interesting part is that the hotel management is very strict on smoking policy in hotel. That is the best I like.
Parking is limited and have to park at the common parking along the hotel row. The y have a security to check on...so a little safe. The location is very strategic. Very near to my shopping mall, food eateries and clubs.
Overall this hotel is awesome and will make this place my regular place to check in.

overall very satisfactory. the staff is also friendly. room facilities are comparable to the facilities in larger hotel rooms. just a bit disappointing at the breakfast session. the food provided is quite limited where everyone can only eat a plate. may be due to the covid-19 pandemic. however, I am very satisfied with everything ...... worth the money spent.

Hotel room is clean and bed was comfortable.
Towels, toothbrush set, 3 in 1 instant coffee, hair dryer is provided. No weird odour in room.
Laundry service and room service also available.
Location very good, beside pelangi shopping mall.
Behind hotel got a open concept hawker open in the evening only.
Breakfast was good, food are not cold.
This outlet is as good as the Hallmark at Taman Molek.

For a over-nighter, this hotel provides value that is hard to beat. Facilities are well maintained. Rooms are generous in size and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. At my last stay several weeks ago, I had left a bluetooth speaker. To my surprise, they called me and told me that they had recovered it. Kudos for the honesty and going the extra mile to retrieve a personal belonging left behind.
