We visited here in a Wetlands Wildlife tour. Our guide was very good at finding the Irrawaddy Dolphins. We also saw Proboscis Monkey, Macaques, crocodiles, fireflies. Also the fishing village and fish farms.

Did a river cruise along Kampung Sibu Laut and almost near to Damai Beach. Really worth it, since the entrance was only RM10/pax.

The life jackets provided were clean, and our guide was so helpful in sharing information of the checkpoints that we visited.

The ride was about almost 1 hour(+-). After that, we had lunch at Telaga Air, which was just located in front of the jetty.

We did a tour of Kuching Wetlands and saw crocodiles, proboscis monkeys, mudskippers, eagles, fiddler crabs and fireflies. There are also some good views of the surrounding mountains and fishing villages.

Well worth a visit if you are staying in Kuching.

I did sunset cruise booked on Klook. There were other 2-3 boat at the same time so it didn't feel like a tourist trap-type experience. The place is beautiful, plenty of monyet belanda (proboscis monkeys) and we spotted 3 Irrawaddy dolphins, although our boat crew said it's easier to see them during morning cruise, so I consider myself lucky. We also saw a huge salt-water croc which made the boat swiftly going away. I only wished to spend longer time, the whole tour lasts 2.5 hours and dinner it's served on the boat during sunset time.

Did a morning river cruise along Santubong River. Wildlife watching very much depends on luck. Weather was great but wildlife wasn't. Managed to see a few Irrawaddy dolphins, so that made the outing very worthwhile, in my opinion.
