counter staff Kheng, she is very professional ,customer centric, friendly , agile , multi tasking and very helpful, sacrificial and dedicated in her work. She should be promoted to higher rank for her good job.

System down today. No one to usher us to queue. It's a free for allllll

Only 2/5 overall. Why? Here are the reasons :-

1. Annoying counter staff.
2. Rude staff.
3. The staff is too noisy.

As per the reasons above, the counter staff was the main reason for my rate. Lol it should be 1/5 stars at all but luckily, the manager and another counter staff served me well.

On 11/1/2024, i went here to open a new savings account, she entertained me well at first but when i said I was a student, she was so furious and kept questioning me like what is my true reason to open the account, if i was really a student (lol i managed to hand her my offer letter), and so on. I know it is the SOP for me to make sure i was not a keldai akaun or midman for the scamming purposes. But the way she conveys the "SOP" was like I'm gonna rob the bank. Sike. Relax and take it easy, why are you so furious. Honestly, she really can do it kindly or smoothly, ask me NICELY, and don't do the "side eye", lmao. The pressure was so obvious lol. Anyway, she did my application and somehow my application got "PENDING" and lol she told me "Pending ni dik, selalunya ada match. KL je tahu sebabnya kenapa." with the side eye lol. The tone was so hard like cmon, be chill and cakaplah elok elok.

On 12/1/2024, I made a report to the HQ through HLB connect, later that evening got a call from the manager to investigate my case and luckily, she is so kind that she acknowledged my feelings, admitting the counter staff "well attitude" and so on. Even the manager managed to tell me why my application was pending, it was due to the reason from my wallet account opening. See? The manager can explain to me nicely, why the counter staff can't do it in the first place? Lol.

On 14/1/2024, i got a call from this branch to inform me my application was approved. So that evening i went there again to collect my debit card, enter the queue and the rude staff told her friend to handle me. Alhamdulillah managed to get away from her. Luckily, her friend is so good. He, yes he is a man. He managed to serve me so well, explaining every detail, helping me to close my wallet account and giving me my debit card. Thank you bro, you deserve my respect.

So, please be kind and respectful or you are going to be hated. The man and the manager really got my respect, may both of you always be at ease. Both of you got my 5/5.

Unfriendly staff. My friend and me went there to do some banking transaction at the counter after we done our research online, staff was judgemental towards our looks and laugh at our request to perform some fixed deposit request-as we "do not bring any company letter". We are unsure and clueless. Hope upper management can look into this

Sy ke hong leong bank utk buka akaun semasa , tetapi ditolak dgn alasan tiada signboard kedai , sedangkan sy hanya bisnes kecil kecilan dari rumah, logik ke utk buat sign board di rumah ? Sy juga diberitahu perlu ada facility utk buka akaun semasa di bank tersebut sedangkan sy ke bank lain sy dh boleh buka akaun semasa dlm masa setengah jam sahaja .. please improve your service
