It's a must visit food court each time I am in Penang. So much variety of food and drinks so will always go there to try a few at a time. This time around had my favourite loh bak stall, prawn fritters and octopus. Next was the stadium curry mee which never disappoint. There was a few sar hor fun stalls and I ordered the one next to my table. Cendol was good and so was gingko longan tong sui.

Interestingly, there were two curry mee stalls, have already tried one which is superior with char siew meat and the broth is uniquely sweet and savory, find the stall with RM5.50 pricing (next to nyonya kuih stall)

Bonus: the shaved ice dessert is fantastic

I cannot leave Penang without their curry mee. It is a must and very different from the one we get in KL. So one last stop! A lot is happening at this ‘medan selera’. Crowded and filled with people everywhere, To get a space to sit, was questionable. I guessed this IS penang where people never stop eating? LOLz! Reminds me much like Singapore hawkers.

Curry mee I find was very very authentic to its core. The broth was light and just nice. Once you mixed in the chilli the white broth turns to bright shimmering red. The mix of bee hoon and mee is a must for ALL curry mees! I highly recommend this. Portion was just nice for a small eater like me :)

Ambience, crowded and localised! Something to experience :)

One more thing, I just have to have the Muar Chee outside. Its readily available almost everywhere in Penang so, not to be missed!

They have the best Ais kacang in town for RM3. The fried rice , fried cintan mee is nice. Pork satay was great too. Do drop by if you are nearby.

One of my favourite places for char kuey teow in town. The stall here makes a solid plate of char kuey teow. It is full of "wok hey" and just the right taste for my palate.

Go for the duck egg char kuey teow. That really adds flavour to the noodles.

The other stall I go for is the curry mee. Nice flavourful broth with decent amount of topping.

I recently dined at a Chinese restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. What stood out the most was the diverse selection of stalls offering a wide variety of local delicacies. From the flavorful Char Koay Teow to the aromatic Curry Mee and the rich and spicy Laksa Lobak, the menu was a culinary delight.

One of the highlights of this dining experience was the authenticity of the local flavors. Each dish was prepared with care, and you could taste the dedication to preserving traditional recipes. It was a true culinary journey through the vibrant and diverse flavors of local Chinese cuisine.

And let's not forget the delightful desserts! The Ice Kacang was a refreshing treat, and I couldn't resist trying the Loh Mee, which was both satisfying and savory.

The restaurant's commitment to serving delicious, local dishes was evident in every bite. It's safe to say that I'll be returning to savor these mouthwatering flavors again in the future. If you're a fan of authentic Chinese cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit.

There is no many Restaurants and shops and there are just a few. But the environment is really quiet and calm for me and then not too rush actually.
The people who want to take the bus that the waiting time is normally long time. There are not too many.
