This mosque is planned to serve the future development around the KLCC area. Currently, it is situated quite far from the completed developments (Suria KLCC, Petronas Twin Towers, Aquaria KLCC, etc.) and walking here is quite challenging due to the ongoing construction. The mosque is clearly designed for a future development and is currently a little bit out of place, evident by the amount of the seemingly future access points from the surrounding developments and the facilities that seems to be "too large" for the current amount of attendees. It currently serves well as a nice mosque and hopefully development picks up that attracts crowd to the mosque itself.

Access from public transport is easiest from the Persiaran KLCC MRT station which currently has a provisional entrance facing the street leading to the mosque but some walking is still required. The KLCC LRT station is also accessible but is situated further away. It may make some sense to access the station through Avenue K for more comfort.

During my trip to Kuala Lumpur from Abu Dhabi, I attended the Jumma Prayer here, and both the lower and upper floors were fully occupied. This Masjid is a modern architectural marvel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Completed in 1998, the mosque was inaugurated by the late Sultan of Selangor. Nestled amid the city's iconic skyscrapers, including the Petronas Twin Towers, the mosque serves as a symbol of Islamic grace and tranquility within a bustling urban landscape. With its elegant design and strategic location, Asy-Syakirin Mosque has become a significant landmark, attracting both worshippers and visitors seeking a moment of serenity in the midst of cosmopolitan surroundings.

Located close to Petronas Towers, in the city centre, is a wonderfully dynamic and modern mosque, set as the jewel in the KLCC parklands. Its airy structure, with repetitive pillars and symmetric architecture, makes for a stunning place of worship, whilst also retaining a peaceful atmosphere of wide structural spaces, and allowing a place of solitude at quiet times. The patterned floor tiling compliments the roofing , giving a sense of real space. The building is a sheer delight for photographers and visitors, include a visit while in the KLCC. A quick chat with security would be appropriate, as not to disturb worshippers. Highly recommended.

Its quite empty when at night. Love the aircond so cold. Toilet and the area so clean but to use stairs to go down. Close to KLCC. The entrance at KLCC park. Prayer upstairs and use stairs. For old people, just pray at ground floor. To donate can by touch and go e wallet and qr scan. Every Monday and Thursday - for fasting people got food for buka puasa sponsor by coroorate and tahlil after maghrib.

I had the opportunity to pray Friday prayers at Asy-Syakirin Mosque KLCC and was impressed with my overall experience. The Friday sermon delivered by the khatib was insightful, and the mosque's carpets were exceptionally clean. The air conditioning was adequate, and the daylighting was excellent. However, I observed a safety concern related to the entrance's fencing, which blocks off motorcycles. It would be advisable to remove the fences and replace them with permanent bollards to facilitate human movement and ensure safe exit from the mosque.

For the Masjid lovers, this is a place to come and pray. The main prayer hall is well air conditioned, have free water (not plain water or mineral), have plenty of free classes (Haji class, learn jawi, learn tajwid and kuliah), toilet is well preserved and clean, huge open space for visitors to take a nap for a while, ablution on every floor including at the top floor. The parking is quite limited but can take a walk from KLCC through the park. Around 5-10 min walk. The view is also nice but for now a lot of construction going on so beware of noises and pollution of air.

An air conditioning mosque located next door to KLCC. The three-storey for prayers is a smart move to accommodate more people while space is quite valuable in this area.
