Nasi Lemak Liverpool Cafe Penang

Rice is slightly stickier than your usual nasi lemak bungkus. The sambal is spicy but overall a hearty plate of nasi lemak. Fried chicken is decently fried, had thigh, like the crispiness and taste. The anchovies were on the saltier end. Personally would prefer a less salty anchovies. RM 9.50

Parking may be a challenge.

So good the true flavour of nasi lemak can be tasted here. Love the outdoor open space eating environment. A non pretentious eating place. Just remember the price is not the 2 - 3 ringgit street nasi lemak. This is Taylor made to your taste and portion as requested. Will be back again. P/s also come with friendly cat, free lemak 😘

Arrived super quickly and hot. Portion is generous. Quite spicy and very delicious!

Nasi lemak is truly tasty to go with the 'kuah', hard-boiled egg and plenty of cucumber. Added fried chicken and squids to spiced up appetite.
Though the food here is good undeniably but the best part of this cafe is a good mix of different races eating together in such a setting - what a sight!

But the rendang is bit too sweet.

Nasi Lemak here is fantastic. Everything is fresh and crunchy. Just like what a good nasi lemak should be. Going with the Kop theme could be a risk of alienating other football fans but with such good offering, other fans could be forgiven for patronising the establishment. Be prepared for a full house during match day. YNWA

I heard great things from a Malay ex-colleague.

I was searching for nasi lemak for dinner. Ordered a delivery of Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah thru GrabFood. Made a comment asking for drumstick - they met it!

Serving size was huge; hood enough to fill any big eater. At RM12.50 a set, it is good value.

The nasi lemak set came with an entire L-shape drumstick deep-fried with spice batter, deep-fried anchovies and peanuts, cucumber slices, a whole hard-boiled egg and plenty of sweet sambal sauce. The “sweet sambal” is still spicy for some.

Superb as usual! The sambal is a little too spicy for me but the chicken, peanuts, ikan bilis and cucumber is awesome.

Rm13.50 for this plate(add rice).

Great food! Great atmosphere! Such diverse selection for this classic food! Outdoor sitting could be better. Late afternoon roosting birds flocked to nearby trees causing a din & pooped on heads here & there! You could catch the English Premiere League games there too especially LFC fans, where we can enjoy the food, the game & of course the the always great company! YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE! Indeed!

I can say it's the best nasi lemak in penang.

The sauce was great, the nasi was great, the ayam goreng was great. This is the place for nasi lemak in Penang! Plus they're a Liverpool fan! Love this place.

If you parked right in front of the shop lot, you will be greeted with the aromatic wonders of fried chicken. As you proceed to the stall to collect your plate to fill it with rice (the nice lady will do it for you), you are given the freedom to select your side dishes to your heart’s content.

The fried chicken has a crispy skin and very juicy; cooked to perfection (on my visit anyway, yours may vary). The sambal completely takes the cake with its spiciness and sweetness.

Ikan bilis was crunchy and complements the rice well. I’d recommend getting the one in the container, not the sambal ikan bilis.

You have a choice of fried or boiled eggs too. There are some other dishes, but I think covering the main elements of nasi lemak is more than enough.

Overall, great food and ambiance. Not a huge football fan, but it doesn’t bother me. If you love the team Liverpool, then that’s an added bonus for you ;)

Fast servis, tasty food with great option to choose either nasi lemak, mee curry or char kuey teow. Good for group and family.
