Restoran Singgang Budu

A worthy place for lunch with plenty of ulam and types of budu and sauces plus we have hardworking boy in costumes to cheer us up and a pleasant to the ear live band to enlivened the ambience.

this restaurant is near continental hotel.. parking not free.. your should be pay your parking if you come at working days.. first step your should take a plate and make a Q to take a rice.. after that take a lauk.. after that go to receipt counter and the staff will count your bill include order your drink and your will get a receipt.. bring your receipt to payment counter and make a payment.. after that take your drink near the payment counter.. and lastly go to your table and enjoy your meals.. first time came here i very shock because i take a white rice and ikan tenggiri masak pedas and some veg and my drink is sirap limau ais and the bill is just rm10.34.. the price is very reasonable because this restaurant at the center of kuala terengganu town.. sorry my english is broken... hope your can understand my simple english.. overall this restaurant is recommended.. if my review is helping your please click helpful button.. thanks..

Only found out tis joint by coincidence few years back. No regrets with their food spread. Prices matches their food n its value for money. Except do hv water pon standby coz their drinks are super sweet.

The environment is very good..
It has a self service system.
First we have to take our food then there is counter from where we get receipt 🧾. And finally we move to the cash counter for payment and the sits at a vacant table to eat.
Many fried items are available, but daging black pepper is my favorite..
The price is very reasonable.. not expensive

Be prepared to q and share table! We arrived supposedly after 2pm but the q is quite long. Its self serviced restaurant, variety of lauk kampung to choose from, taste is good. Must come when u are in KT.

Happening lunch place and it was always crowded. People would line up for the rice and after you got your rice go ahead and choose what is your lauk to your liking.

The fish dishes and sotong are so tempting and it would not burn a hole in your pocket either 👍 and this is a big plus point for this place

As for me i will stick with the tuna singgang, cucumber, daun selom and budu and i am a happy man enjoying a wonderful singgang at singgang budu restaurant 💪

Avoid peak hours, so crowded and jammed. Otherwise is OK. Food is great, services tip top. Many local tourists flock this restaurant.

Plenty delish nasi kampung dishes eventhough we came at 3pm. Nice decor with spacious eating spaces and the live band is a bonus!

Best place you can have your lunch in a traditional Malays' styles. With a variety of ulam-ulaman, lot of side dishes, they serve a tastiest food ever in Kuala Terengganu.

Many choices of food, highly recommended to ordered sotong bakar and ayam penyet ..taste good and superb 10/10!

Squid was different n delicious, simple home style food, enjoyed environment, spacious, sotong goreng power

delicious n tasty..
their singgang budu are excellent..
all dishes also tasty..
clean restaurant..

I could say that this is a must visit for foodie , There are various type of food to choose. The price is also quite affordable and fast. The place is super crowded during peak lunch hour. U can park at the back of the restaurant , got like 6-7 car can park at the back. A must visit 👍🏻

When I stayed at the continental hotel(right next to this restaurant) last time this restaurant was not set up yet.
I only realized the location after arriving :)

I tried couple of different sotong(I am not into fish) and they are fabulous.

But most of all, they play live band for customers which was amazing.

Love love love. I really enjoy the food. Singgang ikan aya with budu and ulam would be a great combo. Simply delicious 😋
