Seri Menanti Royal Museum

This enchanting establishment exuded an undeniable charm. While its refurbishment showed promise, it regrettably appeared to be still in progress, leaving a lingering sense of incompleteness. Disappointingly, the majority of the captivating displays that once adorned its halls had vanished, replaced by the need to scan a QR code for a digital encounter. However, amidst these setbacks, a sublime oasis awaited at the cafe nestled behind the grand palace. There, I indulged in the epitome of a perfect cup of coffee, a delightful culmination to my visit.

Great example of Malay architecture with lots of historical value. Well preserved. Have a coffee shop at the back of the main hall.

This is a beautiful picture I remembered from my school textbook. Great to see it in real life. A hidden gem. No metal screw. Still standing tall at 130+ years old. Another amazing fact that it was built in 6 years. Impressive.

The place is has a very beautiful scenery. Good place to spend time with family and friends. We can also play some traditional games like congkak and batu seremban. Just put Rm1 per person into the 'tabung' there. Free entry.

I loved it because it is a very historical place in Negri Sembilan. Too bad they were still renovating when I went there, so I couldn't visit the second and third floors as they were closed from visitors. It's a good place to bring our kids to, so that they can know the histories of the Royals of Negri Sembilan.

Nice museum to visit with free entry, last entry at 5pm or door close, thr r only drawings exhibition, no oth real living articles to see, the stair case to highest floor is vy steep, hold tight to go up.

It was a pleasure visiting the old Istana and definitely an incredible experience. I was captivated by its majestic beauty and grandeur.

One of the highlights was the stunning architecture with high ceilings and intricate woodwork. Every aspect of the Istana seemed to have been designed with care and attention to detail.
