Veey nice nice place, feel relaxing with the wind blow from the seaside. Got places for you to sit and enjoy. Near the car park have a hawker stall that sell food for visitors, you can enjoy simple food from there. Quite a nice & convenient place. If you like self healing, can try and come here have some me time, sure you will feel better.

This is a very nice recreational area for everyone. Currently some part of it still undergoing construction, etc. The major portion of the area area still accessible.

Just get here very early in the morning, walk by the riverside, let the fresh air pass by you. Cooling and refreshing indeed!

New structures are being added from time to time. At night there are recreational structures that give different moods. But all these man-made stuffs can never beat the fresh early morning walk by the Muar river, sitting in the breeze.

After the morning strolls, go get all Muar has to offer for breakfast! You'll like them all. 😁😂

Tanjung Emas is a place you shouldn't miss if you're visiting Muar, especially if you fancy an evening walk beside the sea, and would like to catch an amazing sunset. Right by the estuary where Muar River meets the Strait of Malacca, Tanjung Emas is an esplanade instead of a sandy beach, with walkways, playgrounds and gazebos.

The area is properly crowded in the evening, yet there is ample space to accommodate the visitors. If you're driving, it is advisable to reach here earlier as parking spots will be filling up fast (Being there around 6pm, where I drove behind a line of cars and considered myself lucky to have found a proper parking spot).

Great place for an evening walk, where the sea breeze creates a cool and comfortable atmosphere. Here, you can also see an unimpeded view of the sun slowly setting behind the horizon, creating a picturesque sight. The humidity of the air around the area probably contributed to the formation of a double rainbow, on the opposite side of the sunset.

As someone that does not live near the sea, this was a great experience and easily one of the best memories from my visit to Muar.

Nice place to do your daily exercise, walk or just enjoy the river view. There's allocated parking lots and is walking distance to eating stalls and about 20mins walk to the bus station.

Tanjung Emas in Muar offers a picturesque waterfront experience, perfect for relaxation and leisurely strolls. The serene ambiance, complemented by the gentle breeze from the Muar River, creates a tranquil atmosphere ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life.

The park's well-maintained pathways and lush greenery provide an inviting setting for picnics, family outings, or simply enjoying a moment of solitude amidst nature. Visitors can also appreciate the charming views of traditional Malay wooden houses and fishing boats dotting the riverbanks, adding to the area's cultural charm.

Additionally, Tanjung Emas boasts recreational facilities such as playgrounds for children and exercise stations for fitness enthusiasts, catering to a diverse range of visitors. The availability of food stalls and vendors selling local delicacies adds to the overall experience, allowing visitors to indulge in the region's culinary delights.

However, it's worth noting that during peak hours, the park can become crowded, impacting the tranquility of the surroundings. Furthermore, occasional littering detracts from the park's beauty and cleanliness, highlighting the need for greater public awareness and responsible waste disposal.

One minor inconvenience to consider is the 50 cents fee for using the public toilets. While this may not be a significant expense, it's important for visitors to be aware of this additional cost.

Overall, Tanjung Emas Muar offers a delightful escape for those seeking a serene waterfront retreat, showcasing the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region. With its scenic vistas and recreational amenities, it remains a charming destination for locals and tourists alike.

Ideal place to go early morning or evening either alone, with friends or families just to stroll around, jog, brisk walks or just sit by river side to watch fishing boats passing by, watch migration birds when the tides are low, hunting for fishes ,or sometimes catch some sights of monkeys in search for food. Or see cyclist regularly ,bikers (Harley Davidson motorbike) or just immersed in your own world with your hand phones! Ample parking lots, well maintained area, clean and safe.. With regular patrol from town council staff. Thumbs up. Follow SOP though for all.

26/11/2022-In conjunction with 10yrs anniversary Bandar Maharani, there's a competition on landscape by nurseries near the playground at jetty area.

23/07/2023 -Event,fun ride flagged off at 8am.

Was a great place for some leisure walking after some food. Place was clean and breezy, plenty of parking. Although it was quite a short walk but it was pretty good for a first time visit. Not sure I would revisit again though

Went there for a quick jog. It's a nice place to get some fresh air. There's a nearby food court, vendors renting e-scoots, bubbles, etc. Clean surroundings and nice view.

nice place for kids’ entertainment. Just concern on crowd level, as the plays (bubbles, riding toycars, that lastic thingy) may potentially cause injury to other people

Great place to stroll around in the evening with your loved ones. Quite a nice view with beautiful sunset, with lots of things happening especially on the weekend, with kids running around playing with bubbles and more. There's also a river cruise there, RM20 per person. Traffic can get a bit heavy on the weekend though. Overall good place to hang out. One of the top attraction in Muar.

Park is well maintained and clean. Good to take a stroll along the waterfront after dinner. Ample and free parking space.

There are few operators offering toy car rental. Children can ride on cars and can be remote controlled by the parents. Do ask the price before renting. The first operator charged us RM20 for 20mins and then we found out the other operator charges RM15 for 20mins..

Highly recommended to visit during sunset. And by 730pm most lights would be up.

The guided tours were interesting, the stories were lively and I learnt a lot about the history of the community.
The radio broadcast was very dated and nostalgic.
The tour lasts 30 minutes and passes two bridges, with views of mangroves and community life along the shoreline.
There is no high tide on weekdays, so you can walk in and buy tickets.

A nice place for all to visit be it in the morning or evening. Alot of people bring their family along for strolling, jogging, exercising, picnic, river cruise etc. A nice and well planned riverside park.
So far this is the nicest place I have visited. And it's well-maintained by the council. Bravo to them.
Be prepared spending time looking for carpark during their peak hour.
