Muar Traders Hotel

Requested for an early check-in and they accommodate that. The room is clean especially the bathroom. Nice view of the river and bridge. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking as well. Would stay here again.

Had a one night outing and stay with my friends. We took the family suite. Comes with 2 bedrooms and living area. Place clean and comfortable. Very breezy and those fishing enthuasist can have their fish rod ready as you can fish at the back of the hotel 😇

Staying here for the first time (staycation and family event). We took the joining room (1 king and 1 family). The rooms are spacious and gives you quite a good view of the town and river (depending on which side you are facing). The rooms are also clean and well kept. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. Overall, recommended place to stay when in Muar.

I was quite dissapointed at first when hubby book this hotel as there is no swimming pool and rated 3 star hotel as I wanted to have a nice break from work ..he took family room but once we check in I was taken by the beautiful view of the Muar river .the room was large with 2 balconies and a small room with single bed.Enjoy my "me time "sitting by the verandah watching the river and nice mosque opposite our room with a cup of hot coffee..sunset..Soo beautiful..The breakfast was basic but I enjoy the simplicity and the service was great..
Across the road go for satay combat and lontong.. Book from 21st Jan to 23 Jan 24..Stay for 2 nite instead of 1 nite.The lift door is so super slow but hey !! just go with the flow.The decor is simple and a bit old .Wifi is good..
Above my expectation..Will sure coming back to this hotel eventhough not my usual standard hotel.. kudos to all the staff ..
Book via whatsapp or call direct then you can choose the room facing the muar river if you book via on line you will be given a room facing the city..
Theres nothing much for tourist attraction here but do drive to Malacca its just 1 hr drive for day trip..

We were late for breakfast this morning after a morning walk. We reached hotel around 10.09am and they have started to clean the cafe. However, the waiter welcome us for breakfast and served us toast and some traditional kuih from the kitchen. Some drinks and coffee. I am so touched with the hospitality. No other hotel will do this. If you plan to not going to Penang,Sabah or other tourism hot spot in Malaysia,Muar is a good place for it cuz less crowd

Polite and friendly staffs, location in the town but not really in the busy noisy area, beautiful view from the room especially during sunset. Room is spacious. Good price for a quality setting.

All was great during our stay here. Bed was clean. Breakfast with the view or muar river n burung2 merpati. Choice of breakfast was not much but it's still ok with the rating of 3star hotel. Location was great in the middle of city centre of royal town. Walking distance to few eateries especially satay warisan, satay haba, satay combat, satay gobok ann n few stay stalls nearby. Also walking distance to muar art street n uptown muar which only held on Thurs, Fri n Satur nights fro. 5pm until midnight.

Riverview, spacious and very unique room arrangement. A good breakfast experience. My only complaint is that my room does not have a bath tub. The toilet is small and only has a standing shower.

I give it 5stars for the beauty of it's room, for it's friendly staffs & for it's location! The room was spacious in family deluxe at 9th floor with two different balconies at opposite directions, one facing sea/river, the other facing town. The view of Sultan Ismail Mosque just across the river is stoning & view of Sultan Ismail bridge & cars passing over it is eyecatching. I had my binoculars with me & saw many interesting places. Tanjung Emas is just nearby & walking distance. You'll have exclusive view of river from the back of hotel, it's a private riverbank area! Secret recipe & Domino's Pizza are both at hotel's ground floor. Many eateries & road side stalls are in walking distances. Just by walking in the evening many interesting places & evening vendors could be found offering variety of interesting products. Riverview point is just next door & entirely with it's flagpole could be seen from hotel. I could see mountain peak (Gunung Ledang) & Islands (Maybe Pulau Besar) from my room. By using binoculars I could clearly see the electricity & telecom tower on Gunung Ledang peak. If you are visiting Muar, give the Traders Hotel a try 👌👌👌👌👌

Excellent hotel. Room is comfortable. Location is within walking distance of major tourist hotspot. Next to hotel is excellent eatery. Highly recommended.

-this is first time i sleep well in hotel,this hotel really comfortable bed,quiet environment and not too crowded.i will repeat again if i wanna go to malacca.
-breakfast limited-but price is good-better to go outside if u want to have so much variety.

Should be 4☆ star hotel. Even though there are no pool and gymnasium.

Got ironing area for every floor. Public toilet at the ground floor.

Nearby activities:
1. Shopping (shop/market)
2. Jogging, cycling, walking (around the riverside)
3. Food hunting: satay, laksa johor, mee bandung, asam pedas etc.

Car park: infront and at the back of the hotel. Ample of parking but suffice for all residents.

Other notice: banquet and function hall are available to rent. Also there are other government office inside Muar Traders.

I'm giving it 5 stars as for a hotel in Muar its the best you will get, make sure you book a high floor with balcony, room is very simple but clean, beds are very comfortable, staff are great and the breakfast is simple but very good.

Having good experince. Fast check in. Friendly staff. Nice and cozy room. Water pressure ok. Walkable distance to Muar attraction places.

Good hotel, friendly staff, very polite. Room is fine, but a bit smelly due to carpet maybe. Breakfast was okay, not many choice but suit with what you paid.

All was good and to our liking and comfort. The location is the best of all. Also the hotel is great value for money

What you expect for 3 star hotel?

1) Staff was absolutely friendly! ( they can adjust your date booked)
2) Nearby Lepaking beside hotel!
3) Parking was free! ( ask them for cop)

4) The room, absolutely perfect. They got us basically room service (i.e Towel, cup tea, TV, AC was cold, toilet like 5 star.

5) Breakfast package.
6) The price absolutely common sense!
7) not bad for viewing!
8) Free wifi and fastest wifi ever!
(35Mph) for all devices
9) Freezer for foodies.

Really recommended for those want to came muar for visiting somebody and not expecting for chilling like 5 star hotel. Lol.

Very spacious and for a family room my daughter love it as she has a separate compartment for herself. The hotel room was very clean and tidy. The lobby is nice and located exclusively on the 6th floor. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is well worth for the money you spent. Well recommended.
