The Wood Boutique Hotel

Stay here with my wife and daughter for 1 night. Less than RM 150 with spacious room (king bed), clean and also good service. Parking is easy to find, nearby to famous restaurants in Muar and also got 7eleven with walking distance. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Muar.

Had an awesome experience! The hotel concept is cool, and there are shops outside with a variety of foods. Lots of parking available too. The rooms are comfortable and have all the basics. They did a great job with the hotel and services.

This is definitely the best choice in Muar for those has car. Close to city. The hotel is new. And the room is spacious. Super clean! The service at the counter is good and helpful. I stayed two nights. We were given rm10 voucher per room per night to enjoy nearby cafe. Big car park at the place you dn need to worry about the hazard looking for parking compared to most of other hotels at the city center.
Overall pleasant experience for me on a budget hotel. Will come back again.

A family get-away to the idyllic town of Muar, known for its vibrant street art, authentic Otak-Otak, a thriving Fisherman’s Village ended in a relaxing and memorable stay at this uniquely fashioned hotel. The artistic charm of Muar comes alive walking through the corridors of the WOOD BOUTIQUE HOTEL with its eye-catching floorings and road signs adding pretty street vibes even as you enter your cozy and well adorned room. Besides the convenience of parking at your doorstep, we were particularly impressed with the eateries within its compound… After a comfortable and restful night, we started our day having local breakfast at café Jom Sekolah Kopitiam. Awesome!

Had a pleasant stay. Really appreciate the spacious room. Would be nicer if they provide 2 pillows per bed. There's also a ceiling fan in the room. And, a water pipe in the shower area, easy for Muslims to take their ablution. The hotel and surrounding area are pretty too, with Eiffel Tower replica some more!
Check in and check out were easy, less than 5 minutes!
Just a friendly reminder, people can see you through the window so make sure you pull down the blinds, we don't want a free show 🙈

We stayed for two nights (17/10–19/10). I will rent this hotel when I return to Muar. The room is large and has toothbrushes, shower caps, towels, an iron, a hair dryer, etc. The pretty lady at the front desk was very friendly. Stay an extra day in April and get a RM10 voucher (walk-in customers only). There are many places to park easily. Close to Bentayan Food Court, Ah Mei Otak, and Hock Kee snack.

The premises itself is trying to create the beach house vibes, it's cute. But the interior of the room doesn't quite match the exterior as it was a bit too plain and simple. The pillow and bed in our room is very comfortable, so comfortable that we consider buying from the counter haha. The room is spacious with super high ceiling. It has hair dryer, mirrors, 2 hangers, split system AC. Overall, room is clean. The Chinese lady who checked us in was very friendly. Apparently if you walk in, you'll get a RM10 voucher for the Japanese restaurant next door, but if you book online you won't get it. It is located in a compound where there are other cafes, restaurants and even a hair studio, but there are still plenty of parking even though the parking was shared with other businesses. There are parking next to the hotel, across the road and behind the hotel.
It was a disappointment when I first saw the room interior as the exterior was so nicely decorated. So perhaps management can consider adding in a bit more decorations that can match the exterior of the hotel. They only provide one shampoo as both body wash and shampoo.

Location good, eateries very nearby, rate is cheap. Room cleanliness is okay.

Very nice place and peaceful. Room is spacious and parking is convenient. Cindy was very friendly, sweet and patient to walk us through the place. Overall the staff are very nice and helpful.

Very happy overall facilities available, for room is spacious n clean. If compare to some hotels in Muar which I hv stayed before, I gave them perfect 5 stars! Even though room near the road side, not really noisy as claimed by others! Perfect room for travellers. Parking is free n easily available. I’m was given a RM10.00 food vouchers for extending another day stay, only that the extended a day stay slightly 2 ringgit more than air asia online booking!

The room is just nice for five of us, clean and cosy. The location is in the heart of the city, close to all local amenities. The room price is reasonably great with the facilities provided in the room. Surely we will come back again.

Great hotel. Ample parking spaces but can be quite difficult to find one if the cafes are open. I find the room very accommodating. Huge, working air cond, fan, iron, water heater. Impressed with the rain shower, no funky toilet smell, the water drains well and no pooling of water. Great location as its walking distance to cafes just in front of the hotel. I also liked the complimentary toothbrushes and tea and coffee sachets. Recommended!

Feels like it’s converted from warehouse. Single storey, Rooms are good sized and clean. Japanese restaurant and cafe within compound that serves good food, worth visiting. Parking available within compound.

The hotel is ideally located near the town area. Easy to find meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also shops within the compound of the hotel that sells food and drink. The hotel is also convenient as the rooms are all on the ground floor, therefore no problem for the older people.

Good and strategic place with ample of parking spaces. Love the exterior and interior design of the hotel. Clean and comfortable. Lots of shops in front the hotel compound. Recommended.

Worth for money. They even gave rm10 food voucher. Food and cafe is just within the compound. Located in town so its near to all places. Room spacious . They do have housekeeping which does good job. Most importantly, the water pressure is good and heater works fine. Room are very clean and new. Definitely will come again.
