It's a little far from town, but the rooms are great, the installations and amenities are amazing. The food at the restaurant was superb. And the price was the best part. Worth looking into if you plan on visiting Puerto Escondido.

We loved our stay ! We stayed for 5 days and we were very happy during our time there. As others have mentioned, the location is a huge downfall. Plan to either rent a 4x4 car or pay ~$500 one way to go into the city (Puerto). The food was amazing, the people were the kindest, accommodating and most helpful. The pool is clean and lovely during the heat. Same thing for the beach which is a few steps from the pool.

Penthouse suite was fabulous, enormous, spotlessly clean, good air-conditioning, showers and killer ocean front views. Stayed in August 2022. Quiet, never crowded. Far from everything. Miles long empty beach.

Restaurant was very good. All food was well-plated. Some dishes were excellent, others average. Would like to see a more diverse dinner menu and better vegetable options. Room for improvement on the baked goods--rolls and deserts were nothing special. More expensive than local options, but you won't get this ambiance, space or cleanliness elsewhere. However, two of our 5 meals were near ruined by flies. 10 flies on my son's place mat at one time. They must use pheromones or fly traps to control this problem, it's not acceptable. Didn't experience this in any other outdoor restaurant we visited.

This is a 4-5 star resort. One expects that level of service. We were hurrying to the airport, but were not allowed to leave at the property gate because we hadn't checked out (they had my card info, paid in full, holding a deposit too). So we drove back to front desk to check out ASAP. Instead I was told we had to return 4 towels and 2 keycards to the front desk. So now had to dash to the room, 5 min from front desk. This is what one might expect at a Motel 6, not a 5 star resort.

Despite the kinks, recommended if you are looking for a quiet, luxurious stay with nothing nearby.

We didn’t stay at the resort but we passed through as guests to visit the restaurant and bar. I never write reviews. But the service we received from an incredible waitress called Blanca was beyond 10/10. Such a warm, kind, caring and welcoming lady that went the extra mile to talk to us about chillis and recipes after we expressed interest in it. She made our day and we wish the best for us. Service so wonderful is rare these days and we appreciate it. Food was wonderful and impressed us. We will be back

I can't believe some of the reviews, this place is tops!! Highly recommend. We have rented all over the world and this is one of the best for value and oceanfront experience. We are staying in the penthouse suite which exceeded our expectations with wrap around balcony, 4 bedrooms, even a lavendaria and upstairs open space. Sounds of crushing waves 🌊 and views of endless beach. Even if you don't have the oceanside rooms you would hear the ocean. Food was excellent and obviously artistically prepared and very tasty. My son's favorite meal of our entire trip was the red snapper. Live guitar music started at 7. I will be back I hope and so will my sons one day.

We recently had our wedding at Vivo Resorts, everything was very well done, the entire day went flawlessly, food, service, and staff made everything flow perfectly. We are very happy we decided to have our wedding at Vivo. Viridiana their wedding coordinator was with us every step of the way making sure everything was perfect!

Location is attractive and seclude @ Playa Palmaritos.
Food is very nice presented and fresh.
Service is on point and on time.
Condos are very nice designed and decorated and are very nice to be in and it has con complete kitchen, TV, Sky, Minisplit, washer and dryer, two sink bathroom. Bed is very comfortable mattress and pillows. Beach is beautiful, sea is always making waves so not everyone can go in unless you know how to avoid the wipe outs.

We loved our stay and definitely will come back in the future.

We spent a week at the resort and had a tremendous time. The staff was excellent, the facilities in great shape (except for the road driving in) and the room was perfect for our needs. It took 2 plane connections to get here but was definitely worth it. We will be back.

Awesome place!

It’s like an all inclusive(except you pay for everything), but you have your own unit to cook in.

Great swim up bar, great food both Mexican and Canadian.

Kids club is awesome for the kids.

Lots of neat things to do around the local area. Which is not within waking distance rent a car.

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Swim up bar is exceptional. The restaurant has great food for good price. Staff make sure that you know when the turtles are going to be released, and advise you if there are any other places of interest that you should experience while staying at the resort. Very quiet and relaxing. The accommodations are 5+ star, with all amenities in the units. Very spacious and pleasingly decorated. An absolutely wonderful overall experience. We can't wait to stay again.

Best 5 days of my life in recent memory. Beers by the pool, morning beach walks with my wife. If this is your first time to a beach, DO NOT be so trusting of the waves. Lifeguard said they are Deceitful and traitorous.

We stayed in this hotel for 9 nights, it was perfect. We had two rooms, one for two people view mountain and one beach front appartment with 3 rooms. All was clean, looked like new. The beach front room was beautiful.

The location is ideal for a relaxing stay, there is no noise, no other hotels nearby, the beach is long, safe and beautiful.
The staff was always helpful, we used internet for a couple of business calls, internet worked well.
Foor was very good, only three menus (breakfast, Lunch and DInner). With great selection, everything we ate was good.

We scheduled a trip with their tour services, private boat for 7 people. It was perfectly organized.
Overall great experience.

The best week away we have have had in a long time. The condos are beautiful and the farm to table restaurant "Ernesto's" is incredible. The staff are friendly and the service excellent. Can't wait to return and eventually have our own condo!! Until we meet again Vivo!! 😘

Spent a week on a stay & play..Beautiful weather, great food. For a short time to get away & relax it's fantastic! Lots of construction going on, but never interfered with our enjoyment of resort. A bit secluded, but a 20 minutes drive to town. Lots of restaurants and shops in town. Laid back. Great for those wanting to relax and enjoy. Amazing fresh fruit and vegetables in outdoor market, not too far from resort.

Amazing resort. Had a great time with my family, we are definitely going back. Great service and great staff, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite beautiful and very good size. A nice private resort and a great place to relax and enjoy time with the family. Love their turtle release program and very beautiful sunsets to enjoy. Great place ☀🌴
