Posada Real Puerto Escondido

Second time at this hotel says it all... Stunning views over the beach with perfect setup forn sets and whale watching. Very kind and friendly staff, good food with simple rooms. Barelybany international tourism. At the outskirts of the main centre is what we wanted. We love this place in its simplicity!

We loved our stay at Puerto Escondido and Bacocho Beach. The Posada Real was the perfect place for our family to stay. The hotel, Beach club and playa were clean and safe and the staff were so friendly. Close to the Rinconada, great food and secluded beaches were only steps away. A special shout out to Salvador and Sarai, who were so helpful and kind, welcoming us in with open arms and attentive to everything we needed. And also to Enrique, whose friendly energy put a smile on all our faces while ensuring the safety of the property and guests. Gracias pars todo.

This resort has amazing views of the ocean. I watched whales from the garden in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi didn't work in my room, and the front desk staff were not able to help, but it worked at the restaurant and the bar. The food was delicious at the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with awesome amenities. We stayed here for 7 days and felt like we were home. Friendly staff, excellent service. Very happy and plan to return next year.

Great place with great views, definitely do the attractions they have (dolphin watch, baby turtle release and the Chacahua National Park trip) wouldnt recommend the all inclusive just because I prefer to go try different food/drinks locally.

Fantastic hotel for its value. Food was ok, service was good and the facilities are very convenient for a good vacation. Location is 5 min away from the airport, and it provides access to a nice beach.

it's an amazing place, the views are beautiful, it's very quiet and you have the option of all inclusive, I'll definitely be back.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. The bad reviews are from people who come to puerto Escondido and expect 5 star cancun style resorts. It’s authentic mexico, what did you expect? A bed made of gold?
The customer service is amazing, people are nice and will talk to you and smile at you, I liked the food a lot! Drinks are about $6 CAD. Food varies from $6 to maybe $12. Buffet is around $25 or so, and free access to coconuts beach club too! Don’t listen to the reviews about the pool closing at 6; it closes when the sun sets.
Also if you come to authentic mexico you really should be eating authentic mexico food in puerto or la punta rather than depending on resort restaurants.
I will definitely be coming back!

I loved it here. The beach is right outside (once you go down a whole bunch of steps) but it's private with no kids and ladies in their husbands t-shirt pushing you and splashing water on your face 😅😅 The pools are very nice and customer service is the best. It's a very humid atmosphere so the fact that there's no elevator is quite a sweat😩😫

We had our wedding at this hotel. The staff went over and above, they were doing their best to keep us and our guests happy and were constantly asking us if everything was ok and congratulating us.
The location of the hotel itself is on a kind of hill overlooking the beach and the ocean which allows for spectacular views. You can walk to Carrizalillo beach (15-20mins) or catch a radio taxi.
The beach club is a short walk down some stairs (maybe 4-5 minutes). It is a beauti beach, not ideal for swimming because of the waves, but it is definitely possible in some areas. What it is ideal for is to relax, have a cocktail from the bar and rest on one of the many sunbeds or chairs. The pool area at the beach club is also quite nice and is good alternative for those who don't dare venture into the ocean.
The price of the hotel is higher than average compared to other hotels in Puerto Escondido, but due to its unique setting and amazing views, attentive and kind staff, and option of open bar included in the price, the conclusion I had in the end is that it was totally worth it!

Nice hotel near the beach of Bacocho. The stuff is very nice and the food is good. You can move within the city by feet. The distance to the airport is only 5 minutes with a taxi.

Staff is extremely kind and fun. Clean and beautiful property. Beach is nice, private, and beautiful! I thought the snack foods were processed (burgers,nuggets) but they are made in house! They are currently renovating the rooms to modernize them, bigger bathrooms and nice wood furniture. We came during the teacher's protest and many things are limited (supplies) and the hotel is not as full. My friends and I would love to come here again!

The place is perfect to be completely relax and also enjoy most of the interesting places in Puerto Escondido since it is located nearby the downtown and most of the main beaches.
The service is great and the staff is very helpful. The food of the buffet is really good.
I totally recommend it for a couple trip to get relaxed.

Excellent customer service, since we arrived they were amazing!! The view of sunsets there is the best 👌. I did forget my jewelry little case including my wedding rings, they found them AND sent to me.

Such a cute family oriented resort ! Ismul our bartender was fantastic aswell as Jose and Bernardo! We will definently be coming back!!!! Food was amazing! We love it here

Great calm hotel for couples and families. My hihghlights about this hotel, the view from the garden and its garden itself are great, nuce place to have a drink at the sunset. The hotel have a beach club 2 minutes walking with a great beach(not to swim but beachee in puerto e arent the calmest anyway) with a photogenic view and all services needed. Apart from that the hotel is just 5 minutes from the airport so is virtually imposible to lose a flight haha. About the rooms are quite average but clean and good enough, ask for the ones with the garden view and balcon. Food is ok and service is good too. Smart option if you want to rest and enjoy. To be social and with young folks go to zicatela.

Excellent spot for an all- inclusive and basically the only one in Puerto Escondido. Try and get a renovated room, these all contain new bathrooms and quiet air conditioning units. Don't expect a large and varied buffet. If you need a change of menu there are plenty of restaurants nearby on Blvd. Benito Juarez only a short walk or taxi away in Rinconada.

If i can give it more than 5 stars ill do it our 3 day stay with my family was outstanding but most of all the food was great rooms clean personal very friendly i was not dissapointed at all beautiful scenery and great location from all the beaches to visit and shopping
