Playa Zicatela

Beautiful, long, uninterrupted beach. Perfect for walking and the best for sunset. If you want to swim more then head slightly north to the corner of the beach (past the rocks) where it meets Playa Principal. Here you can swim with the smaller waves

Beautiful beach with nice bars and restaurants nearby

It’s satisfying walking on a long sandy beach with the surf crashing next to you as you carefully place each foot step on the sand. Occasionally feeling the last remnants of a wave cool off your feet. Great beach.

Not overrated and definitely worth seeing. It was pretty credible we were there but it's such a large beach with so many options of places to hang out and restaurants that it didn't feel too crowded. There are so many cool things to do definitely check it out and give yourself a full day to go Don't forget to go to the market that is nearby and also check out the gym that is on the beach there run by Diego and his awesome team, including Michael who does nice circuit workouts.

A beautiful beach for a sunset stroll. Not great for swimming but great for watching the waves and for surfing. Busy place but also chill at the same time. So many options for restaurants and bars as well.

Stunning beach for sunset

Perfect for surfers but also to relax and enjoy sunset and night life. Close to other beautiful beaches and local towns. I loved watching the surfers 🏄‍♂ feel the magic of the waves.

Waves, babes, and sunsets. This beach is great for the experienced surfer and there is more than enough room to spread out and find a a place to sunbath in peace.

Long beach with sand bottom, popular among surfers. Waves could be really high and powerfull. Great spot to cool down, watch surfers and sunsets. When the sun goes down the sky goes through many different colours and shades and it is truly magic and unique. One of the best sunsets I have ever seen.

Beach is long and clean. Beautiful place to walk or sit down to watch the surfers. There are more than one volleyball courts and a lot of businesses. I love this beach.

Not for swimming. Again! Don't get in the water if you aren't a waterman. The rip current is just as strong when the waves are 15+ ft as they are 5ft. The lifeguards will kick you out sooner than later. The beach is not for swimming

Nice and clean. Good for surfing and relax with the sound of the waves. Nice restaurants by the beach to have a nice dinner and good time.
