The daughters and granddaughter of the original owner understand what good coffee is and are happy to answer any questions. It's my go-to place for coffee (espresso is heavenly)!

When I visit family north of the border I always bring Café Cafico coffee.

The aroma of beans roasting spill into the street. I was drawn in and definitely not disappointed. Excellent espresso. Grab a coffee go for a walk in the area bc there's almost no seating. As someone who considers themself to be something of a coffee connoisseur, I will say that this is excellent coffee.

We have gone to enough cafes and roasteries enough to sense the passion from their products and their staff. This place has terrific staff who loves their coffee.
We ordered a frap at 50mxp as we needed something to cool off. Even when it is a frap we can taste the coffee and espresso used to make it and was not overwhelmed by the ice and milk.
Wifi is strong, Eloisa took the time to talk to us and prepare the drink to our liking. We happen to be there on a Saturday when they are roasting so the place is filled with coffee aroma.

Very cool cafe. They roast their own coffee beans from Veracruz Mexico. Coffee is excellent. The logo of cafe is picture of late father. Highly recommend.

Been searching for a good coffee for quite some time. This has to be the most aromatic coffee I've had. I think you would genuinely struggle to find anything better than this in Merida let alone Mexico

OMG. Best coffee we've had in two weeks and the only place I'd come back to. Also the best value, $60 for a large cup, good strength, and THE MILK ISN'T TOO HOT. Fantastic!

From a coffee loving traveller: This is one of the greatest cafés I have been to. EXCELLENT quality coffee. Roasted right in front of you. Show up early to smell the beans roasting. If you are a serious coffee drinker, this is where you want to go.

I also really appreciate that my Americano was served piping hot. Nothing worse than warm coffee. This place does it right.

Small little place only 3 seats and a table but gorgeous coffees with freshy ground beans. Lovely smells of fresh coffee beans permiate the space. Cold coffees and decaff available.

Extremely kind, gentle, and friendly man working in this lovely little coffee shop. They sell coffee from the Chiapas region and it is delicious. You can buy beans or freshly ground coffee or have a cup of coffee right in the shop. Lots of choice and great quality!

Very small coffee shop with Mexican coffees. There is one table, so be prepared for takeout. I don't think they serve any food or other fancy drinks. He has maybe 8 drinks or so to pick from. Excellent coffee drinks. Very friendly owner ("Fico") who seems to be the only barista. The business hours very a bit because he closes when he needs to run an errand. Fair prices for an outstanding cup of coffee. When he is roasting coffee beans the aroma is great but it gets smoky inside. Highly recommended.

Very friendly owner! He roasts coffee and that is his primary business. He started serving by request and set up a small table. The coffee is mostly takeout but is delicious! Highly recommend especially the Iced coffee with a bit of sugar.

We happened to rent the apartment next to Cafe Cafico and became friends with Fico. He's been running this shop and roasting coffee for 20 years. Some of the best coffee I've ever had. It's also very fun to watch him roast the beens. Stop by and say hello to him, he is very friendly. I barely speak spanish but we ended up having awesome coversations. Will be one of my best memories in Mexico :)

Great place for coffee, and last minute gifts ( of hand roasted coffee) muy bien lugar con lo mejor cafe. Solo deseo que se abran mas temprano! Correct name is Cafe Cafico. Fico is nickname of owner. Google has location marked incorrectly on map. I have corrected (I hope) but it is SOUTH of Calle 47 on West side of Calle 58. Tell Fico "El Guero" sent you...
