Mayan Pub

I live in the States and have traveled to Mérida 4 times so far. This is one of my favorite spots. The beer cost around 41 pesos and they give you pop-corn as snack after most drinks. The music is good, sometimes they have live music. The owners are from France and Oaxaca, a lovely couple. I will be back the next time I am there. I normally go there to have a drink, but I haven't eaten their food yet.

Great cocktails, very nice barman, and great atmosphere with a local rock band, definitely a must-not-miss in Merida!

They had live music on the Sunday we went to. The band was awesome had the crowd dancing and you can get a ice cold beer for 33 Pesos . We also ordered the wings and that was pretty yummy, would definitely come back.

This place is absolutely one of the best bars we visited in Mérida 😁🤘🏻 if you like live music then come here 🤘🏻🤘🏻 we didn’t eat here so I can’t give any comment on the food but they do do food and many other people were eating here so I’m sure it’s ok 😁

Great spot, nice outdoor area and bar out the back, cheap food and drink, laid-back atmosphere. Pool table (free to play, just pay 200 peso deposit for balls and cues) and foosball inside. Friendly staff and a nice treat to get popcorn as a snack with your drinks!

Great venue. Good priced beers. Fantastic bands. Been there every night whilst in Merida. Go go go!!

Ozmar is a super accommodating bartender. Super friendly, helpful, and speaks great English!

I went there 3 times during the 2 weeks I was in Merida.
Oh, and there was a live bad the last night I was there singing Nirvana 🤟

Good value for your Money and nice and attentive Staff. We had some good Cocktails there.

This place doesn't look very appealing from the street but once you walk all the way to the back and find the outdoor bar and garden, it's a gem!

We like sitting at the horseshoe shaped bar and the bartender always remembers us and is quick with the drinks. It's a very chill atmosphere and they have some decent live music every night. It's one of my favorite bars in Merida

No visit to Merida would be complete without tipping back a few at the Mayan Pub. I like to go once or twice a week because the service and ambiance never get old. Wonderful open air patio and live music later in the evening (often after I leave).

Great patio, polite staff. The music wasn't too loud. Overall, especially during pandemic times, maybe the perfect place to go in Mérida. I've always loved La Negrita, but it was closed during this visit.

Pro tip: Always specify what kind of tequila you want if you are having a shot. This applies in all of Mexico. Also, good tequila doesn't require lime and salt. Don't be a jerk.

Good atmosphere polite and helpful bar tenders. Play rock pop hip hop music 30 pesos (1.50 usd ) Victorian beer. Pool table live band.

Very much a place of fun - nicely rough around the edges, with cheap beer and surprisingly excellent nachos. Well worth visiting if you feel like a grungier night out!

Great bar. When you first walk in it looks small but there is a whole back patio and it is great. Alvar (the bartender at the front) speaks amazing English for anyone who needs that.
Drinks are cheap and good. This is one of my favorite bars in Centro.

Best pub in Yucatán! After visiting multiple bars I the area this one is far out the best. Sitting at the front bar is a great way to spend your time in Mérida and meet both locals and travellers. The barman Alvar will take very good of you and is very proficient in both Spanish and English. Very laid back atmosphere and very easy to become acquainted with new people, especially at the front counter. Try the Spicy Habanero Mezcal (400 conejos Mezcal) Margarita if you get the chance!!

My favourite pub in Meridia. It has draft beer and a free billiards table. And often with live music.

Very lovely, the waiter was handsome and very kind. Had amazing drinks with friends, would come back very happily.
