Great retro gym! Super friendly and welcoming staff. I purchased a day pass for 50 pesos and was happy with the range of equipment available. The upstairs women’s area is huge and well-equipped.

I love that women have their own area on the second floor.

Equipment is really old upstairs but it’s everything you need. No frills, just get to work. Not a big selection of cardio equipment but there is a step master.

Timing is key as there is no AC. So don’t come at the hottest point of the day. They do have fans though.

Go with appropriate expectations. It’s $2.50 USD for a visit so it’s not going to be like 24 hour fitness or Equinox. Good hours and open every day.

Old school gym. 35 pesos for a day pass but the week is 75 and you can get 4 workouts if you go every other day.
There's a separate area for ladies.
I'd give minus 1 star for lack of air conditioning but I just like the place too much for that.
Not sure if the month pass is 4 weeks or 30 days or what, but I think Semana is really the way to go.

Old school gym. A lot of handmade equipment. Everything you'd need for lifting. It's currently 50 pesos per day if visiting. You should bring your own towel, because they charge 50 pesos to use one. Fan cooled. No A/C. My only complaint is the mosquitoes! 😫🦟

I don't lift weights, and I only wanted to check my weight on vacation because Mérida is a city where you can pack on the pounds pretty easily. They let me come in, weighed me, and wouldn't accept my money for a day pass. Very nice people, I wanted to make sure that they were recognized for that.

The gym is huge. Two stories (upper level reserved for women). Massive selection of equipment which is overall in good condition (functional if not that pretty).

Not that many people there but because the gym is so big you aren’t battling for space or machines.

Friendly staff.

Only fans (fairly standard in Mexico). No air conditioning so come early morning if you can to avoid the hottest part of the day.

Was able to achieve a good workout here.

Only negative apart from the heat was that there were mosquitoes in the gym so perhaps bring some mosquito repellent.

Old school Gym, no fluff so no inflated prices. Think about the movie "Pumping Iron" when choosing this gym. If this doesn't fit you, then move on. Great place.

Needed a hard workout and boy did I get that here. The machines aren't the newest but if you know how to workout that won't matter. The owner helped me with all my questions and my body feels really good. Appreciate it being open.

I really like it. Women’s floor is not very busy. A lot of machines although tired are functional. You can find just about everything in here. ❤

Lots of machines, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I guess you should bring your own lock for the lockers though.

Great for lifting. Every machine imaginable for weights. Also super cheap week/month pass for travelers.

Great gym , like stepping back into the 70’s , all of the old school equipment you can’t find at any modern gym , old posters of body building legends , no air con only fans and concrete floors , any classic body building fan will appreciate Boscos,
