Canyon Vista Medical Center

As a result of completely overdoing it physically while 7 months pregnant, I ended up at Canyon Vista at 2:30 am on a Sunday morning.

My mom called the hospital while my husband and I were on our way to inform them I was coming. She spoke with a rep in the ER and was told that instead of going to the ER, I would need to go immediately to OB.

By the time we arrived, the lady in reception had already been informed and immediately called the OB nurses.

Two OB nurses were down within 3 minutes to get me, and despite the fact that my husband was still updating our insurance in the hospital system, I went into immediate assessment for fear of early labor.

Dr. Brainard was called and onsite within 45 minutes. She was absolutely incredible. She was very straightforward but did not lecture me once on what I had done wrong. Instead, she offered examples of what she did wrong when she had her twins, as well as examples of some of her other patients. Her treatment and advice was very valuable and her bedside manner was exceptional.

Before we were discharged, we met with two additional nurses that were absolutely fantastic and also offered their own stories of what they experienced during their pregnancies and how to best mitigate risk. The discussion was just comforting.

Every single person that participated in my treatment Sunday was wonderful and very much appreciated.

I have had previous OR experience plus I am a retired Hospital/Home-care /Hospice/Compounding pharmacist. My OR with overnight stay was 5 star excellent. My every need was attended to in a timely manner, with perfect care, concern and bedside manner. Kudos to all the staff and thank you all so very much.

I have been to this hospital a number of times over the years and I have been treated extremely well. The nursing staff in particular have always impressed me with their care and empathy. This last time was another surgery I had to have. Once again the nurses did a great job of looking after me. I can't speak to other's experiences but I am glad that Canyon Vista is in our community and will definitely use them again.

Surgery went well all staff and nurses were fabulous even as my son the patient flirted shamelessly after he work up Heather RN in post op dealt with it like the pro she is. Christine in pre op was wonderful answered all questions and kept us up to date when the schedule got delayed. Great experience over all

My father was taken via ambulance to Canyon Vista Medical Center before he was transferred to a Tucson facility. The emergency department at Canyon Vista went above and beyond. My father was very well taken care of! Hats off to the ED department! Thank you all!

My wife had atrial fibrillation and we were needing a cargo conversion we thought. We checked in the ER a d met nurse practitioner Dawn Dye. She was very competent. She gave us good advice and my wife left feeling much better

I could not have been more pleased with all of the Canyon Vista medical staff that assisted me during a recent surgery. Ij the surgery room, Kelly, Jim, Rayahn and Brian each greeted me and prepared me for surgery in the most friendly and comforting manner, and I was completely at peace. Coral was my pre-op RN and Heather was my post-op RN, so I spent the most time with each of them. These two ladies made me feel like I was their only patient. They both have such a kindhearted nature, one in keeping me informed and comforted ahead of surgery and the other to gently help me through initial recovery in the first couple of hours. I will strongly recommend Canyon Vista to family and friends because of the warm and professional treatment I received.

Great experience from beginning.to end. Everybody was so nice from people at the front desk, nurses, lab personnel, the preop personel, doctors, surgeons, nurses at my recovery room, therapists etc.Very friendly staff.
When I was getting ready for my surgery, everybody winning and introduce themselves and explain their role in the process of the surgery In a very friendly way. I highly recommend this facility. When my seven year old was born here. They were very nice to my wife, and took good care of them.

Jayme C. Is an outstanding CT tech. I recently found out I have a tumor on my kidney and I had 2 Stat CT that were done by Jayme. She was so compassionate. She was close to ending her day on the second scan and she took me with a smile on her face. She is a number one employee in more than one way. Her kindness meant the world to me, as you can guess the word cancer has just shaken my world. Jayme thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism ❤

I was there tonight and I received the best care ever. The employees were super nice and friendly. They worked quickly as a team so that patients could be seen by physicians as soon as possible. I had a severe bladder infection and was in and out for an hour including tests and waiting time. Thank you for making me feel much better!

I received excellent care, from sign-in, to pre-op, to the operating room for my surgery to post-op. To the excellent professionals, I like to thank you all, Jessica (RN Pre-Op), Dana (PAT RN), Cyndi (RN), Kelly (OR Nurse), Corina (OR Nurse), Joel (OR Nurse), Dr. Amos (Anesthesia), Thomas (Tech), Victoria (Tech) and Dr.Niemczyk.

We have had both of our sons at CVMC Labor and Delivery Unit. The nurses, doctors, and providers were fantastic both times. Everyone was very nice, caring, and attentive. Thank you so much.

My husband was recently treated for an acute gall bladder. We were very happy with every step of the procedure. Everything seemed well organized and thorough. He has had a good recovery.

I had two procedures completed at the hospital. The Cat-Scan was actually a pleasant event as the personnel completing the procedure were totally professional, friendly and caring. They were efficient and everything was completed quickly. The second procedure involved anesthesia and the medical staff were again, professional, caring and ensured I was well taken care of. Post-operative care was the same.

Had a cardiac cath procedure yesterday morning and was treated with great care by everyone there. I was in good hands from the time I arrived and the time I left. The pit crew as they call themselves that gets you ready before and looks after you after the procedure was amazing. Thank you!!!

All of the nurses in outpatient surgery were very professional, caring and friendly. Dr. Han is a very good GI physician and I would recommend him.

Me and my wife had a terrifying Sunday a few Sundays back with our first and only child. He split his lip on the outside and inside while playing in the house as an energized 2 year old. Thanks to Hasan Sowid and MD Lasly they instilled in us comfort and and trust. They were Profesional but also personable enough to make us feel at ease. Our child has healed beautifully and is back to his crazy self running and having fun like a 2 year old should. Everything was done quickly and attentively to make sure our child was ok and that makes us trust Canyon vista, and if we're ever in an emergency again we know that if we get Hasan Sowid and MD Lasly we'll be more than ok! Thanks for taking care of our child and keeping our crazy parental minds at ease!

Mammogram: I hate going for my annual mammogram. I dislike it so much I hadn’t gone for four years.
Jordis was very patient with me and my deafness. She clearly and patiently told me where to move ect.
She was very pleasant, cordial and professional.
She made me comfortable enough where if I have to go back I will. My yearly for sure.

They made what could have been a terrible experience bearable and got me the help I needed. They were courteous and got me in quickly. Its the only E.R. I've ever had to use, but every time they have been fast and polite.

This hospital is run very efficiently. Wait times for all aspects of the surgery were minimal. The staff was extremely compassionate understanding and caring. I would highly recommend the use of this facility.
