Villa Merida Boutique Hotel

Our stay at Villa Merida Boutique Hotel was amazing.
From the minute we walked in the front doors, we were transported from the busy streets of Merida into an oasis.
The charm of the hacienda was tranquil in all common areas from the courtyards, sitting rooms and the beautifully landscaped and luxurious pool area.
We were in Room 4 and it was immaculately designed. The lounge area was huge with plenty of room to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing. The upstairs loft bedroom was equally huge with a walk in closet, baggage storage and dresser set behind an extremely comfortable king size bed.
Honestly, highly recommend this property as a must stay in Merida.

Villa Merida is the absolute best place to stay in Merida! Only a short and pleasant walk from Merida centre and you are in an oasis! The grounds are stunning, honestly felt like a fairytale. The room was perfect! It was so well designed and spacious. The pool area was excellent and the shared kitchen had everything we needed! It’s quiet and peaceful, I was so sad to leave and am already dreaming of returning!

As a solo female traveller, my experience at Villa Merida Hotel surpassed all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel not only welcomed but also secure in their attentive care. My room offered a perfect blend of comfort and style. The courtyard and pool area became my favourite retreat, creating a tranquil escape within the heart of the city. I'd totally recommend it to any fellow wanderer looking for a blend of comfort, style, and good vibes in Merida.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Merida for 6 nights. The place was beautiful, tranquil and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Batiste was a superb concierge from the first inquires we made via phone thru our entire stay there, making sure everything was to our liking and helping answering questions about Merida. We had 2 rooms side by side on the upper level, having the balcony to ourselves overlooking the pool/gardens for morning coffee and evening rests after long days exploring. We highly recommend staying here in this amazing, restored residence of centuries past.

What a gem! Like entering a different world coming through the front door. Peaceful and beautiful oasis comfortable walking distance from Centro. Professional kitchen to self-cater. A beautiful pool to relax. Staff friendly and helpful. (Thanks Batiste) We will definitely return!

The pool and courtyards are super calm and far enough away from the street you don't hear anything other than parrots.

Only met friends there, but it looks like a really nice place. The owner and the manager were friendly and attentive and it was a nice time.

My 2 female friends and I stayed here. First of all, it’s beautiful. Great location. Ultra hospitable. The villa really felt like a home and not just the suites. It was also really safe and secure. 10/10 would stay again

Stunning hotel and property. There is a beautiful garden and pool area to relax by, as well as a large communal kitchen. Best of all was the entire staff and how they were so kind and patient with us (we don't speak much Spanish). Thank you Batiste and everyone for treating us so well while we were there (:

Amazing hotel and service! Impressive architecture, really advised!

This is now an AirBnb. Great host. As soon as you enter the walls of the villa, the noise of the city fades away. You hear bird song, occasional dogs barking and the trickling of water. Even when all the units were full, the place was so spacious that I didn't notice it at all. Food consumption is strictly prohibited in rooms as it is a tropical place and you wouldn't want to attract all kinds of critters. There is a well stocked kitchen to cook should you choose to and there are refrigerators to store any personal perishables.

My brother recommended this place, having stayed here for over a month and I understand why? A stunning colonial era house with pool, big communal kitchen and large, comfortable rooms. If I'm ever back in the area, I won't look anywhere else

Beautiful Air BnB Colonial mansion located on one of the main streets in Merida, offering a quick walk to downtown with many dining and shopping options. Absolutely beautiful courtyard with mature plantings, a huge pool and a separate Casa in back that houses a gourmet, stainless steel (very food safe) kitchen equipped with restaurant quality cookware and appliances. Very relaxing place to stay while visiting Mérida, highly recommended😊

This was as beautiful in person than in the photos online. We lived it. Location was great with a 2 mi ute bus ride into town. Or 4 dollar cab ride. Room was clean and xomfortable and host was pleasant. Breakfast was food everyday and hoat was helpful with things to do and see. I wouls definitely stay here again.

This used to be a boutique hotel. The owners have turned it into an Airbnb and it's still amazing! I like it better now. I can cook my own food but still be in a beautiful boutique hotel. I highly recommend this business to all travelers through Merida.

The Villa Merida is an experience not to be missed on your Yucatan holiday. The villa has been beautifully restored and provides an authentic colonial experience. We recommend immersing yourselves in all its grandeur. The villa provides a great base for exploring downtown Merida..which is just down the road as well as the Mayan ruins, many beautiful cenote's and coast nearby while offering peace and respite at the end of the day

Beautiful place, is near to Downton, also you can stay on the villa and have a great time with your family
