Villa Orquidea

Stayed here for two nights, our experience was lovely. The rooms have huge ceilings and the beds are very comfortable. The shower has great pressure and the Aircon is strong. Breakfast is simple but delightful. There is nothing I would change. Its also a great location 10 minutes to loads of bars and restaurants. I would happily stay here again.

We were here for our last night in Mexico, such a beautiful hotel! The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom has a huge bath which is very nice if you come here as a couple. The swimming pool is very clean and refreshing, the location was close to everything and the breakfast was the best and most varied we had at any hotel during our trip in Mexico!

Fantastic hotel! Had a really great stay, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The included breakfast was great, and the room very spacious. Would definitely come here again!

This hotel serves as the benchmark for what a boutique hotel experience stands for in Mexico. Huge rooms that are super comfortable, amazing outside area, nice and efficient staff, superb breakfast. On top of that, it is really affordable. Cant think of a better place to stay. It does look much better in person than in the pictures, I can assure you!

We spent 3 nights here before heading out to Cancun. Such a nice stay here as its walkable to the downtown area and not noisy (my friends told me they couldn’t sleep well due to the bar noice). The staff was also very personal and helpful, which made us feeling like staying at a friends place. Way to go!

I was here just this last weekend, Miss Lorena and all her staff have welcomed us like no one as never done before, I felt like at home every minute I spend there!
The room, the pool, the breakfast....everything was perfect!
My room was awesome at the 1st floor, the nr 5 with an incredibly large bathroom, the breakfast was simply amazing, with a lot of fresh fruits and a great variety of choice, everything organic, and biologic...unfortunately I have been only for 2 nights, I wish I could spend a week there! I recommend it for who wanna spend some days to refresh his soul and body...
The last tip I can give is to book directly on their website, the fare is significantly lower than you can find on the net.

So often one chooses a hotel based on photos which can feel deceiving, but not here at the Villa Orquidea! It is so beautiful as shown! And, Lorena and Alberto are incredible! Both are kind, helpful, attentive, and caring about the quests. The room is spacious, the bath is almost like taking a shower outside, and the breakfast is delicious! The young lady who serves is delightful. The general ambiance is relaxing and calming, especially at the plunge pool. Overall, this was a really fantastic choice, and we truly recommend it to everyone!

Such a cozy tiny hotel incredibly located in downtown Merida. Close to great restaurants and hotspots in town. Kind and friendly staff. AMAZING breakfast. The building is such a beautiful old house perfectly suited for an amazing stay; tall ceilings, great garden, beautiful pool and –last but not least– hamacas

New, very beautiful boutique hotel with a small pool. The breakfast is individually prepared and eaten in a lovely room. Flawless service, highly recommended. Five minutes walk to Parque St Lucia.

Super spot in the heart of Merida with a pool which is really great over here. Rooms are comfy and breakfast really good. Anyway, great place to discover and enjoy Merida.

This was outstanding hotel. We loved everything on this accomodation. The whole ambiente is beutifull and its not far from the city center.

Within walking distance of the centre, lovely rooms, courtyard with a pool, and very friendly service.

Clean, comfortable and great breakfast

Gute Lage, kurzer Spaziergang 8-10 Minuten bis in das Stadtzentrum, parken geht meist direkt vor dem Haus, das Personal ist super, das Frühstück ist gut.

Verbesserungspotential gibt es bei: Der Receiver vom TV ist unfassbar langsam, die Klimaanlage klappert und nervt einen dadurch nachts, der Pool war nicht perfekt, wurde aber am Tag unserer Abreise bereits repariert und die Hängematte hängt unter dem Metallträger der Treppe, die für Europäer sehr niedrig ist, man stößt sich sehr leicht den Kopf.

Wir würden wieder kommen!

Es una auténtica maravilla. Quizá de los mejores sitios del mundo en los que he estado. Cuidado, limpio, una piscina fabulosa pequeña para darse un buen chapuzón. Los detalles están cuidados. Todo limpio. Bien decorado. La cama es comodísima. Lo dicho: un sitio magnífico.

Super recomendado! Las habitaciones muy cómodas y amplias, la comida deliciosa y el servicio espectacular. Un lugar más íntimo y genuino, que te remonta a como se vivía en aquella época. Muchas gracias por todo!
