Dolphin Discovery Los Cabos

This was by far the BEST excursion we did while on vacation. Truly a once in a lifetime experience! We purchased the Royal Swim package which included over 6 unique, interactive activities with 2 dolphins (Tango and Cleopatra) our sealife expert guide, Gabriel was knowledgeable and wonderful to interact with, with our English speaking group of 6.

That package came with all of the dolphin encounter photos taken by their professional photographer, a camel ride, sealion encounter, speed boat ride along the coast of San Jose Del Cabo and a buffett lunch.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ENCOUNTER FOR YOUR FAMILY!!!!

Went to Dolphin Discovery Los Cabos with a group of friends. I've been with dolphins before in Punta Cana and conditions were much better here. The dolphins seemed happy and weren't covered in scares like I seen before. Danni the trainer, was perfect 👌 clear and loud English and answered all my questions

The whole experience was worth it. All 14 of us had so much fun.
Only bad thing was the picture prices . For 2 people it's like 170.00 so you might have 6 pictures or if your lucky you get 20 , but it's the same price .
We where 14 and they didn't do group packages .

Had a great time with the kids. Trainers were fun. The sea lions made everyone laugh.The photos are extremely expensive although remember this is a very tourism based area. This is how they make their money and is just part of the vacation experience. Was a great experience from beggining to end, the transport was great and we did buy the photos. I'm glad we did because now we have these memories to hold onto not just in our head.

Highly recommend it this once in a lifetime experience. We purchased the top notch ticket and it was well worth it. We were 1 of 3 groups and jealousy reared its ugly head because all we kept hearing was "we should have bought the tickets that they paid for.

These people are amazing and you spend lots of time with the dolphins. They also rode the camels there too

Dolphin Discovery is amazing ! The dolphins are happy. The trainers truly have a life long bond with these wonderous mammals. I have been several times.

One of the best things to do is the free talk everyday at 3 PM. The trainers will explain the importance of protecting the environment and afterwards tou get to meet one of the dolphins. One of many great ways Dolphin Discovery gives back.

Fantastic for kids and grown-ups alike. Clean and modern business with professional trainers offer a well managed experience in small groups of 8 per trainer. A photographer captures all the key moments with beautiful photos and videos available for purchase after the dolphin encounter. We had a great time.

Such a great time! Very knowledgeable and kind staff, amazing dolphins, very cool. Was kinda scared prior to but once the staff made everyone comfortable it was so great.

Very cool! Santiago was our trainer for the dolphins! So great! Audrey was our dolphin and she was beautiful! We did the adventure ride and it was fun! Great staff, clean shop and toilets. Jorge was our photographer. I thought the price to get your pictures at the end was way too much. $240 for our group of 4. (It was $120 for us to go on the dolphin adventure ride.) So I just ended up getting one picture for $35. You cannot take your own pictures. I could've gotten just my pictures for $96, that's pretty much what I paid to be with the dolphins. But amazing experience, would recommend!

Fantastic! Perfect from pickup to dropoff. First time for my family, so we did the camel rides, dolphins, and sea lions. Fun FUN! FUN!!! The staff are focused on giving you the best experience, and they succeeded. Added the photo package...definitely worth it! They gave us memories to last a lifetime.

Great experiences swimming and interacting with dolphins! Easy experience, not crazy expensive, and felt safe the whole time.

There is no bad experience at a Dolphin Discovery. Wish I had been healthier to complete the full experience. Dolphins make great therapy animals.

Our family had an amazing time with the Royal Swim package. Everyone from the photographer George to the trainer Santiago and the wonderful dolphins Audrey and Simba were absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful once in a lifetime experience and recommend it highly. The camel ride was fun as well.

Beautiful experience! We had the Royal package and got to play with Audry in the water! She seemed so happy! It was a blast! From ages 10 to 61 our whole family had a blast! Danielle and Emelio were very nice and Ivan was a great photographer!! The food included in the Royal package was really good and easily worth $20-25/person. *Be sure to prepay for the pictures, you get all of them digital and it's way cheaper* We took our own transportation so we were able to take our time.

The experience was excellent. The dolphins seem to be well taken care of. I spoke with one of the managers and she said they also rescue dolphins and when they are in better health, the are released into the wild.

I want to clarify a few aspects that are not quite clear online and that made it difficult for us to make a decision. Here are my main points:

Cost – yes, it gets expensive but it is worth it. If you have a group of adults with older children, the little ones go for free. The dolphin encounter experience is great for little children and their parents or better yet, grandparents. It is better to call direct and avoid booking through a third-party since you might end up spending more than you need to. They have a special price for locals.

Camels and sea lions -- They have additional activities for older children (in the more expensive package) in which they ride camels and feed sea lions as well.

Pictures -- you're not allowed to take your own pictures from the deck. At first, I thought it was ridiculous but then I saw the deck. They are narrow and if you have too many people in there with cameras it can easily get out of control. However, if you have a camera with a great zoom lens, you can take pictures from the road where you wait while the children and grandparents are playing with dolphins. Then there is the other side of the coin. They take pictures and sell them to you and they are expensive and not that great.

Great experience. Jonotan and Santiago were great. We were able to get our 7 year old on a dolphin and our 4 year old was also in the experience. I guarantee you will enjoy this experience. Prices here should be expected in the greater Cabo area. Please do not expect to catch a break here. You are supporting the staff and the care of the dolphins which are amazing.

My boyfriend and I visited Los Cabos for a week and chose to do quite a few excursions, with the Dolphin Discovery being one of them. It was an AMAZING experience! We got to interact and do many activities with the dolphins and learn a lot about them. My boyfriend and I interacted with 2 of the 5 dolphins, since there were other groups with the other dolphins: Tango and Audrey - both were beyond intelligent, adorable, and extremely well trained. We got to see the baby dolphin, Henry, who was just too cute. We even got to get up close with the seals and take photos - which was super cool and they were adorable! Our instructor, Carlos, was very gentle with the dolphins, clear on instructions, and a natural. It's great to see the dolphins and seals are in a natural habitat and taken care of with such passion. Our photographer, Jorge, was also amazing! He took many great photos and was very kind and funny. We highly recommend coming to the Dolphin Discovery in Los Cabos - it's well worth the time and money!
