El Original Tony's

Being a chef I know what a good restaurant should be. Tony's could rival any in the States. Everything was cooked right, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, prices very reasonable and the waitstaff was very conscientious, welcoming and congenial. The food was outstanding! I even picked up a few ideas while there for my own place.

Had the steak it was good taste wise. … we trimmed a lot of fat off which made 1/4 of it not edible… everything else was perfect side dishes portions were great

Great service, maybe the most attentive wait staff we've had.

Chips are a little hard for my liking but the three salsas (green apple salsa, pickled vegetables, and a pico de gallo) were all very good.

Margaritas were large and pretty good.

Nachos were good, but only had refried beans and cheese, if they had in topped it with some of the salsas/vegetables.

Breaded fish was gigantic, really well breaded, very crispy. Side of corn was perfect, as was the bean soup, I'll probably get the bean soup next time I'm here.

Mushroom lettuce wraps were good, very flavorful and filling.

Was pretty unfond of the muzak playing on the radio until Coldplay and Goo Goo Dolls came on lol.

Great food and service. Ordered the USDA rib eye and the Mexican national rib eye both medium done. Price for USDA $400 ish and National Mexican was $200 ish. Meat was cooked the way we like it. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing staff, super vast serving sizes, superb tasty and diverse menu (for both food and drinks) plus the best location in Ajijic it's a no brainer to visit whether is it for business or with family.

Absolutely melt in your mouth steak cooked to perfection! Top notch service and enjoyable atmosphere. What's not to like??

Consistently. The ribs are amazing, the Red Salad, great. Don’t believe I’ve ever had a bad meal there. Waitstaff a joy.

My Mom was Craving fish..Good Fish ...I had looked around and Tony's Meniere Fish Fillet looked amazing. We ordered via Traitte. Our food arrived fast and Hot. I chose the Ribs. The Ribs were very meaty, with a great sauce and a nice char. The meat was tender and juicy. Ok...now to the Fish...Im not a Fish lover but this was very good...My Mom Loves Fish and said this is one of the better Fish she has had in years. We live close by in El Dorado so this is gonna be a restaurant that will enjoy often...Thank you for a wonderful meal...Next I want to try your bone marrow..

My husband loves their ribs and the arrechara is perfection. Piña colada was delish.

Highly recommend this place, especially to anyone visiting from the US. We had a long vacation and we stopped here toward the end. This almost felt like a little refreshing taste of home; the BBQ ribs were absolutely delicious and so was the fettuccine with shrimp. The quality of the food here was above most others places we had stopped at during our trip, I really enjoyed it and if I were in the area again I would absolutely go back!

Best coconut shrimp...generous serving.. condiments and bread were so-so. Enthusiastic service.

This place is delicious!!! Would have never thought that a restaurant like this exist in a little town in Mexico. The service is amazing, everyone that works there has knowledge of the meat cuts and everyone is super friendly!! And the food!!! I ordered a steak and it was seasoned so delicious, my boyfriend had the ribs and they were also delicious. It was just a really good experience, totally recommend

Delicious and we'll prepared food. Flan and coffee with sambuca finished a sumptuous meal.

The best hamburger EVER. And the filet of fish muniere....perfect. and of course the bean soup. Famously delicious. And Freshly redecorated. Waiters and management are so attentive.

Service was awesome, everything was prepared perfectly by the cook, I had the famous barbeque ribs and was surprised by the richness of the sauze. My wife had the fish , and was nearly able to finish the plate. Highly recommend this place

Just great!! Wonderful lamb chops (Sundays only), best ribs in town, great service, redesigned inside with great spacing, new small bar...simply charming. New on my top 5 favorite restaurant list.

Nice clean place to sit and eat. The burgers are pretty good and i never remember to take a picture of the meal before I dig in. Waiters are friendly and speak English. Easy normal parking and not on a crowed street, Conviently located right next to Superlake in Ajijic. I highly recommend this place.

This place is amazing. They have a huge variety of food to choose from. The steaks are melt in your mouth good, and my bass fish fillet was fabulous. They have specialty desserts that were delicious. I highly recommend this place.
