The managers and chef are young though have years of experience. The staff is excellent and will make your stay wonderful. Enjoy.

Great place, the reason I give 4 stars in service is because is not open to public all time. Take care if you order complements for your chilaquiles, they will charge you 80 pesos for 2 eggs.

Rooms are huge, the atmosphere is so tranquil and cozy. Food delicious and the lake is right next to it. It has a couple of nice swimming pools and the personnel is kind and work hard to make you feel special.

Outstanding customer service. Facilities need to be updated. We had breakfast every day at the hotel. I love chilaquiles. Great value. I was impressed with all sanitary conditions taken upon arrival.

Our room was air-conditioned and comfortable. The view is amazing and the staff was helpful. My car died and a couple of employees from the hotel give me a jump. They took care of us

Hotel Real de Chapala is a very modern place with the foundation of the old haciendas of Mexico. The hotel is clean. The rooms are big. The staff is extremely polite and friendly. There are bars and restaurants, with wonderful menus. There are also two pools. However, the most mazing part of this hotel is the lake and mountains view. You should go. Order some tasty Mexican food. Sit by the terrace. Enjoy the views and please do not be afraid to practice Spanish with the locals. This is why we travel. More so these days in which some want to bring division and hate, we need to push for love and understanding. Besides, you might learn a thing or two about this magnificent hotel. After all it was built in the 1940's and still standing! Viva Mejico!!

This is one of the nicest places to visit and eat al in all the Lake area. Beautiful scenery and excellent food. The wait staff is super. Give yourself a treat and make plans to eat here.
