Restaurant Temozon

Fantastic place to eat in Temozon. It is a family restaurant, suitable for families with young kids, although we were a group of 3 adults and it was perfect for us. Be aware that they close at 7pm every night. There is a pool, not sure when it is open but I believe the locals go there for a swim and dinner with the whole family. Credit cards are accepted. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable, especially for the beer and cocktails if that's your thing. Limited options for vegetarians, as the local specialty is their smoked meat. Very friendly service, our server spoke fluent English. The food was great and the atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming. Very clean place. We ate here twice during our 5 day stay in the area.

Stopped in for lunch and was greeted by the welcoming staff. Had a very kind waiter who helped us with out order. The food came out and was delicious. If in the area I would recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped here by chance. The place is beautiful and lot of shadow. The staff is (as so often in Mexico) very nice. I took shrimps A La Mexican, which were very nice. I highly recommend the place.

Jose Tuz makes this place magical. He gives you the real feel for the Mayan culture. We toured many places in Mexico but Jose really gave us the warmest interaction of all. The food here is outstanding. It's an oasis on a dry highway. Loved the human touch that is slowly becoming extinct. Not to mention, the food was amazing!!

Perfect taste for all tourists! You will not go wrong. Must try place.

I stumbled upon this gem on the way back from EK Balaam, and it exceeded all expectations. The smoked meat platter was a delightful symphony of flavors, leaving our taste buds dancing with joy. The local fresh juices were a perfect accompaniment, refreshing and bursting with authenticity. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made this a truly lovely culinary treat. Five stars without a doubt!

This place has excellent service, great food and even has a swimming pool to use while you wait. Had the smoked meat platter, not a bad cut of meat on there. Micheladas were refreshing after touring Ek Balam.

You must eat in this authentic restaurant if you are visiting the mayan site of EkBalam.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was very friendly and we got our food quite fast. Don’t miss it if you are around!

We made a stop here for lunch and is was very good. A lot off food en very friendly people.

It was mobbed by the locals when we went, but it was a Sunday afternoon. We did get a table and food and service was good.

Excellent food and customer service. The server was friendly and is a shining example of what people in the hospitality industry should be like. No wonder this place was busy. That's a good sign. Basically dinner for 2 cost less than 400 pesos with the tip (guacamole, 2 entrees, 2 limonadas). Recommended!

We have travelled thru the whole Jukatan and more and have not found any place nearly as good as this one! Food is amazing!!! The best food we had in Mexico during our trip. Highly recommended! Staff is super friendly too.

I was invited to have lunch in this restaurant because of it's excellent cuisine.
It is a joy to spend with friends having a great variety of snack to begin with, for the drinks also you do not have to worry there is something for your taste.
For the main dish you can go light or more robust, from sea food, to meat and vegetarian options
Next time I will on town I know where to go.

Delicious and reasonably priced authentic local food. Their longaniza (sausages) are delicious. Not too far from Valladolid. They have a waiter that looks exactly like Pena Nieto. He gives great service and is very friendly.

Get the smoked pork. You will not regret it! Excellent stop after a day at Ek Balam. Great food, probably the best we ate on our whole trip.

Server was very good at dealing with our lack of Spanish as Americans and even helped us learn a few words.

We found this restaurant on our way to visit Cenote Hubiku, which is quite close by. It’s located on the main road, so you won’t get lost looking for it.
The restaurant is large and airy, with a beautifully rustic grass thatch roof. There’s even a pool next to the seating, but I didn’t see anyone using it. The menu is in Spanish and English, so if you can’t read or speak Spanish, you can still enjoy a meal here.
We were here for lunch, but they also have breakfast on the menu.
The prices are really low (about $4 for guacamole and nachos) and the food is really tasty. It’s far from Cancun, so if you’re not in the area for one of the attractions (the Cenotes or on the way to Chichen Itza), this is probably not a place you’re going to drive 2 hours to dine. For what it is, it’s very good.

Stopped in here after visiting EkBalam and the food did not dissapoint. The service was great. It is outside sitting so if you need AC this might be a little warm for you. They do have fans going and you are under a straw vaulted roof. that keeps the heat and the beating sun at bay. As the waiter to teach you some Mayan with your food.

This place is awesome. Stopped in on the way to Rio Lagartos because it was the only place that had parking and loved it. The service was excellent. Our waiter helped us learn new words in Spanish as well as brought us samples of some of the local juices, Jamaica and Tamarindo. We would have never tried them otherwise. But now are some of our regular orders.

I highly recommend the garlic chicken filet. It is amazing. We drive out of the way on another trip a few weeks later just to come here.
