Flores Cafe

This was the best random find as for dining experiences found thus far in Merida. Thanks to my spouse looking on Google maps for a neighborhood he wanted to go explore. This restaurant so happened to be along route, and after reading many positive reviews, we decided to have breakfast here to see if the "hype" was true. And boy, oh boy, let's just say this is not a place to be missed. If I could afford it, I'd eat here every day! Out of all the restaurants and cafés we've dined at in Merida, Flores has the best Americano coffee and eggs covered in Mole sauce that I've ever tasted. The service is very good, and our server was very friendly and patient with us, despite the language barrier. We loved the eclectic ambiance with nice messages written all over the walls surrounded by foliage. This place has a notable zen vibe about it with pleasant music playing softly in the background. I haven't stopped thinking about this enjoyable experience, and I'm already planning a return trip back for breakfast. 😋

Wonderful neighborhood cafe with great food and nice service. The paquetes offered are a bargain with coffee, fruit or juice included with your entree. Very relaxing atmosphere with a unique vibe.

Great breakfast spot. Excellent and friendly service. We had molletes and chilaquiles and fresh carrot juice.

We stopped in for breakfast here on our last morning visiting Mérida - the location is absolutely charming; one of the most beautiful and unique spaces we visited during a week in the Yucatan! The food isn’t anything out of this world, but still very satisfying and very affordable prices. The juices were delicious!

Setting inside an older home w lots of bohemian / environmental characteristics...impressive patio arrangements around the home under beautiful trees and beside a dip pool surrounded by gardens

All ages were present at lunch w a lie family bday party in a side room which was private and had a full length view to the courtyard

This is a great little find in the Garcia Gineres area of Merida close to el Centro. We went there to specifically have the traditional cafe de olla drink which they serve. It's not that easy to find in Merida now. It was delicious and so were the desserts we chose. I had pan de zanahoria (carrot bread) and my partner had pan de platano (banana bread). There is a lovely courtyard to enjoy your coffee/meal outside. Lots of breakfast choices on the menu as well. Great service.

A hidden gem a 100 meters from Av. Colon. I almost missed it, if I did not observe a couple entering through an open gate. Many choices of seating, from inside, near a small pool, or surrounded by many tropical trees. The bacon and cheese omelette nice and moist with crispy bacon and the fruit plate, overwhelming!

Excellent restaurant - food and service. Family run by mother and daughter. Friendly staff. Various seating options in beautiful garden setting.

Stumbled across this place after coming back to Merida from Progreso. Have had breakfast at a number of different places in Merida and this little places is at the top of the list. Super friendly. Good food and a real warm/soft feel to the garden tables.

What a gem! A perfect place to relax, escape the heat, and read some awesome quotes that make one ponder life! Food is great, ambiance superb.

Absolutely perfect. We arrived at 8, and scored one a the few tables near the little pool in the lovely garden. I had huevos motuleños, which were fantastic. My favorite place in Merida so far!

The second time we ate here, my opinion is unchanged. But it’s better to make a reservation if you want to sit by the pool, especially on Valentine’s Day. We had huevos mexicanos and a crepe with Nutella and bananas, both very good. The service and setting are impeccable, and the price is very reasonable.

I’ve spent the past month in Mérida and I’ve eaten out nearly every meal-in both simple places and very sophisticated ones-and I have to say that this place is my favorite place in all of Mérida. It’s lovely, the food is terrific and the staff very friendly. It just has a great, welcoming, fun vibe. I recommend the Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Motuleños and all of the creative juice mixtures. Worth the trip over to the Garcia Ginerés neighborhood.

The food was really good, the iced chai latte is amazing! We enjoyed our meal.

Our waiter disappeared after dropping our food off so we had to go find him to pay our bill. Also where we were seated (outside) had a lot of ants on the ground walking all over our feet which is a little annoying when trying to enjoy a meal but since it is outside I will not hold it against the business.

Clean, open áreas, air conditioned room, good service and the food was really good.
At the end, the owner, working along her staff, came to greet us and asked if we needed anything.
I really enjoyed our breakfast space which was "private " and outdoors!
