As a nondrinker I was happy to find a place where I could join my friends and enjoy something else besides water or juice - they have non-alcoholic beer. They seem to have a good selection of the spirit they specialise in.

Yes! Ask for Brenda. She gave us a comprehensive lesson on Mezcal from the origin to modern production to how its best to sip it. She speaks about it with such enthusiasm, that you are encouraged to ask more questions about Mezcal. We had a great time and was an awesome host. Will definitely come back again.

Hiccup. Along with each shot came an explanation from
Rafa the bar tender. Any errors in speling or grammar are
a result of the most expensive, the bartender's favorite, or the cheapesr mezcal. Total cost for evening: $36

Great tiny Mezcal spot. Rafa is very knowledgeable and you can tell loves everything about Mezcal and really respects it. You'll find a lot of mezcales you might have never heard of before, and that's on purpose. I'd definitely recommend having a few drinks here. We didn't have any cocktails, as Rafa recommends you drink it straight to really taste the mezcal.

Since being in Puebla, everyone told me that I had to try the Chiles en Nogada. I was walking around town and stumbled across this place, not far from El Zócalo. I ordered the dish, and my waiter Darynell brought me a sample of a special edition Mezcal which was perfect with the dish.

Great place, greet food and service, without being stuffy or fussy.

The guys here love mezcal, it’s evident in their explanations, which are very informative! Try mezcal poblano, you are in Puebla after all!
Oh and pro move, they give you copious amounts of water from the get-go!! Too many places are stingy with the water. Not here!

Absolute highlight of our trip to Puebla. The staff talked to us for an hour about all the different mezcals they served, how they were produced, and gave us free tastings. Their passion and knowledge was incredible. Love this place and hope to be able to go back soon.

A great place to try different types of mezcals. They have 160 different bottles. Their cocktails are delicious too. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

What a place! Thank you Andrés for an amazing experience. It is seldom that you meet a person that is so enthusiastic about something as Andrés is about the craft of Mezcal. We used google maps as a way to find a Meszcaleria but instead of just having a Meszcal Andrés picked up on our interest and explained about the whole process of making a Meszcal, let us taste serveral kinds, taught us about how to properly do a Meszcal tasting and so much more. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!
