This is a very pleasant place to spend a few hours. A lot of the little shops are just selling the standard trinkets. I even found one that was selling the sweater I was wearing that I bought in Quito, Ecuador. But I also found some very unique shops like the Talavera shop that's sells talavera from their fabrica. And if you stroll on down to the artist part, there are some really interesting paintings. Then, of course, there's the Mole Poblano to sample ... and buy to take home.

Never disappointed. So many Puebla gifts available, it's colorful and the food is delicious. Definitely a must see. The artisans have some beautiful items for sale...

Small clean market. They sell artisanal items for souvenirs, home and clothing. I purchased earrings, necklaces, a ring, blouse, shirt, cups and shot glasses. Most of the vendors are very friendly but we did encounter a disgruntled worker.

Great place for arts and crafts, few blocks from zócalo, many restaurants Coffee shops and Gelato

Very cute market, with many souvenirs. It’s not an authentic market, but I expected way more tourists than were actually there.

Good place to shop for souvenirs. Look out for the señorita who sells green quesadillas and tacos along the streets. Her quesadillas are beyond awesome! Approach any street stores to try their cemitas as well!

Nice cheap tourist market to get souvenirs, but still you have to bargain, these Mexicans see dollars and the price goes up

Beautiful market selling all sorts of crafts from Puebla and other areas of Mexico

An artisan open market in the heart of the Historic City Center in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. Every stall has so many items to offer, one could spend several hours browsing, if not all day. Many of the vendors are themselves the artisans and can be seen creating their masterpieces.
And if this market isn't enough, then walk over to the very next block and encounter a dozen more businesses, mostly "Cases de Talavera". Easily spend another day browsing these shops.
