Chilakilez Morning Food & Treats

I was so happy to hear about this fabulous restaurant. Recommended by Martin from Gran Real Yucatan Hotel. The staff is so helpful. The generous portions are a real bargain and I had the pleasure of meeting Eduardo the owner of this fine establishment. He has such positive energy and truly a conscious operator. So many options, I’ll have to come back.

Had our breakfast around 10 and there was plenty of seating available. Both my wife and I had the fruit bowl with yogurt and granola. Large bowl! It was excellent along with the Jamaican tea. Even though our Spanish is extremely limited, all of the staff were very patient. Certainly recommend.

If you wanna try an authentic Mexican breakfasts, this is a very good option. Chilaquiles is a very popular dish and here it is very well prepared. Quite affordable too. There are other dishes with eggs. The place is small but it has air conditioner. If it is full there are chairs to wait.

Very chic place, friendly staff that speaks English and according to them, most things on the menu are naturally gluten free. Lunch options are somewhat better than breakfast choices. If you love cheese, this is the place for you.

Loved it - build your own chilaquiles!

Excellent Chillaquiles! I'm in love with the mole version. The portions were huge and the quality exquisite. Service was excellent. Great place.

They had run out of the green sauce, so we didn’t have chilaquiles, but the mole enchiladas suizas are *chef’s kiss*. Would 💯 recommend!

Very nice folks whom will make you the best Chilaquiles in Merida. This place also does truly wonderful juices too, the vampire is a hit

The chilaquiles were twice the plate as other places and really well done. In fact you could split a plate and be satisfied. Not a great place for kids as the place is small and can get pretty crowded with lines.

They are standing behind their slogan, these are really good chilaquiles! They usually take some time to prepare the dishes so be patient.

Things to improve:
- My table wasn't really clean when I sat down.
- Music is fine but I wish they would play more calm and relaxing music. After a long week usually I want a place to relax while having breakfast or brunch.

Other than that I highly recommend trying this chilakiles!

The chilaquiles here are amazing! They have all sorts of variations. I had the traditional ones with salsa verde! I can just recommend this place.

Can't share enough how along this resturant was. I recommend everyone go to it if you want a great breakfast.

Because of Covid they only have 4-5 tables with no outside dining, just a FYI.
Checked them out on a warm Sunday in January. You build your own bowl kind of thing. It does talk a little time for them to make to order - just a few minutes but it is worth the wait. Can highly recommend! PEr the menu they have other things as well. Plan on trying to repeat before leaving Merida.

Food was really delicious! Big servings, come hungry. Nice decor, simple and cozy.
