Rosa Sur 32°

We came here last night for a birthday dinner and the food was sublime! The highlights were the Duck Guacamole, the melt in the mouth Fried Cauliflower (wow!) and Eggplant (Berenjenas) and the Risottos (both the Vegetarian and the Seafood versions). All of these are highly recommended.

We were lucky to have timed our dinner reservation with a MeridaFest concert taking place in the park, so we had a front row seat to the show. And I’m still thinking about the Mezcalitas and the cheesecake dessert. This was one of my favorite dining experiences during my month in Merida!

Super fish tacos! The mezcal margarita was also great and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My wife and I asked them to make our drinks in specific ways, and they accommodated the requests very well. In a great location. Appeared to have some nice vegetarian and vegan options. I’ll go back

Had a good lunch at Rosa Sur ; we ordered guacamole to share and then 2 mains recommended by the waiter; everything was very good and portions generous. Expensive but good restaurant in Merida!

Excellent food, attentive and quick service. The catch of the day with pineapple puree and chards was perfect.

Hidden gem in the city center of Merida! The food really is exceptional, we especially recommend trying the shrimp risotto or any of their other pastas. The service was so friendly and relaxed, the owner was such a great host as he even offered us a free dessert on the house, exceptional service! The location is also cute as it's at a Quaint square in the city center, can highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

It is fantastic here.
The service is perfect, it has a very nice atmosphere a little removed from the street. The food was absolutely amazing. We had a selection of the hot cakes, the vegetarian sandwich, eggs benedict, and the mixed sandwiches. I can firmly tell you, that you will be satisfied with any of these.
As my recommendation, take the green juice and the Café de la olla. Overall great experience.

A fabulous delicious sublime meal! Lovely l ordered the deep friend cauliflower appetizer and the beet salad & a spicy margarita To die for delish! The beet salad was deeply flavorful and clearly created with top notch culinary intelligence. Simply outstanding. .

Great restaurant with amazing ambience. The location is key as you get to enjoy the slow urban vibe of Mérida in Parque de Santa Lucia. Menu highlights: the burrata (something to keep in mind is that their burrata is not super juicy, it’s like in between of fresh mozzarella & burrata, but still tasted amazing with all the other ingredients & dressing), mascarpone dessert (just wow🤤) and Frozen Basil for a drink! Muchas Gracias!

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Merida. We are here twice and each time was delicious. Food is fresh and creative. It’s a nice change from traditional Yucatecan food and definitely better than the popular restaurant next door.
The service is very warm and accommodating. Thank you Ramses and team!

Delicious food! Dined al fresco, tried ceviche for the first time and it was wonderful. Mojito was flavorful and well balanced. Duck (which I usually don't order) was nicely prepared. Chef was personally attending to tables and making recommendations, very friendly and speaks some English. In a very popular and historical area of town, took a nice walk afterward and there was some kind of fun cultural dance going on. Highly recommend

The short rib was quite frankly, one of the greatest things I’ve ever put in my mouth! The ambience and servers were wonderful, but the food spoke for itself! Everything we had was impressive, and we enjoyed people watching in the courtyard.

Lovely terrace on the plaza, so beautiful by night. Very attentive charming servers. Had a delicious Mayan specialty with truly gourmet flavours. Will come back!

Great food, freshly prepared and for an adequate price.
Everything I ate here was really good in taste, fresh and nicely decorated.
While the pricing is slightly higher as I’m other places, the quality of ingredients is better as well.
The staff was nice and helpful too. The only disadvantage is that determining whether seats belong to the restaurant or a different one, is hard as they partially “merge” together.
Apart from that, I can really recommend the place.

Top place in Merida! The food and service was excellent, very good value for money, decor of the place is nice , overall is a place that definitely will go back, the cheesecake is something else 👌🏼👌🏼

Small hidden restaurant in the Santa Lucia Plaza. Had lunch there and the food was amazing and the service was great. Waiter was very welcoming and nice. He also spike English which made things a bit easier haha

Best gastro-experience in Merida! 👌 This tiny, living-room style restaurant is a real treasure. The waiter is also super nice. It’s prices beat other restaurants’ on this busy pretty square. We’ve been there two times while in Merida.

One of my absolute favorite meals. Ceviche app, lamb and sticky rice, black bean fish. Flavors tremendous, server was part of the experience in explaining dishes. Menu was Spanish with English translations. Cocktails menu was extremely limited, but were also the best margaritas I had this week. Called ahead for reservations on a Saturday night.
