My family of 5 had a great experience at this hotel. Everyone at the hotel was so nice and friendly and took great care of us; they really tried to meet any need we had. We loved relaxing in the hammocks by the pool. The food each morning was delicious. The location of the hotel was great and we were able to walk to parks and restaurants daily. Overall, I highly recommend. We can't wait to return!

We were fortunate to stay at the Boutique on our recent trip to Merida. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, and everything in the hotel was spotless and beautiful. The property itself is well-located and within an easy walk to Paseo de Montejo, some of the city's best restaurants, and a flat 20 minute walk to the main square. We stayed in the Penthouse--which included an amazing rooftop deck, seating, and a hammock-- and it was perfect for sitting outside in the cooler air of the early morning and late evening. The daily breakfast was delicious and made to order, including fresh bread from the neighboring bakery, and it easily held us over until lunch.

At high-end properties, you pretty much expect to have a beautiful room, but you also hope for that extra touch of service and warmth that makes the stay so much more pleasant. This service aspect of our stay exceeded even our highest hopes. The owner, Sunita, and her staff, skillfully arranged all of our transportation (including to/from Cancun airport), our tours to various Mayan pyramids, and a trip to the local market and cooking class. Sunita went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome in Merida, and we felt so at home in her hands that we are already planning our next trip to the city. Her staff is excellent, particularly Alesandra and David, who were both so incredibly kind and helpful to us throughout our stay.

This hotel is highly recommended as an excellent value for families seeking high-end accommodations in Merida, particularly when you factor in the quality and size of the rooms (ours had three separate bedrooms and two baths), the premium location, the daily included breakfast, and the total end-to-end service. If you are planning to use Merida as a base for exploring the wider area, including the ruta puuc, I also highly recommend emailing Sunita to seek her help in setting everything up, as it will probably save you hours of time and frustration.

An outstanding hotel next door to the museo in downtown Merida. We visited as a group of 9 (4 adults and 5 boys) and loved it. Sunita and Patrick have built an oasis of calm and cool in this wonderful , vibrant and exhausting city - the pool saw a lot of action during our stay to recharge the batteries! Great staff, rooms and suites beautifully designed and appointed, wonderful recommendations for dining out in this foodie metropolis. Whole party took the lunchtime cooking class which we loved - fascinating visit to the local markets to pick up ingredients with our chef and then cooking up lunch in the great kitchen. Couldnt recommend more highly, everything you want a city hotel to be: personal, relaxing and intimate.
PS - we also checked out their new venture next door the Treehouse (over 18s only I think) - amazing and if we return without kids, this will be next port of call.

My husband and I spent 3 nights and four wonderful days at Boutique by the Museo and it felt like being at home. The suites/apartments were clean, had luxury towels and sheets, the beds were comfortable. and the property was as nice as the pictures. The staff was helpful and attentive and having the owners on the property meant that every detail was on point. I would highly recommend it!

The place to stay in Merida, hands down. The staff were so friendly, and they even have a bread and coffee shop attached! Beautiful spot in a wonderful town. Thank you!

The boutique hotel is certainly on the pricier side, but the services and quality of rooms received makes it well worth it. The staff on duty were very helpful and acted promptly when I needed replacement linens at a busy hour. Additionally, its proximity to the city's cultural center makes it an unparalleled stay from which to explore the city. Highly recommended.

This is an exquisite hotel that was a pleasure to visit. We went there to take an amazing cooking class. On arrival the hotel is a picture of beauty. The staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful. The decor was top notch. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and all we could do was ask why we did not stay there. Oh yeah... The cooking class was phenomenal.

Our stay at Boutique byThe Museo was a great experience and true pleasure. It’s beautiful design, calm atmosphere and delicious breakfast prepared with local products made it all very special. It was almost a challenge to leave the hotel and the pool to discover the city.
Sunita, director of the hotel is so welcoming and has very good tips to discover the city. Restaurants she recommended where one of the best we‘ve ever been to.

Nice hotel centrally located. Not sure why the staff keep the entrance door closed all the time, a bit annoying to wait for someone to let you in every time when you get back to the hotel.

Spectacular boutique hotel, amazing food, staff and location. Wifi however is very unreliable, makes working consistently or doing calls almost impossible

This is a beautiful spot: close to the historic center of town, next to Paseo Montejo, literally next door to a great coffee shop, with great service... and they even organize regular, petit comité concerts, always observing measure to ensure everyone's health. Enjoy!

Great little boutique hotel with a central location. Nice friendly staff and visible owner which makes for made for a much more homey experience for our family.

Beautiful hotel with pool and courtyard! They also have delightful orchestra concerts some evenings.

La belle surprise ! Bien situé à quelques pas du coeur de la ville dans un quartier calme, cet hôtel est un vrai cocon paisible et confortable ! Nous avons adoré son agencement autour de l'agréable piscine. La décoration est pleine de goût. Notre chambre était idéale : lit parfait (important quand on vadrouille toute la journée), grande douche avec gel, shampoing, après-shampoing et soin corps de qualité, serviettes douillettes, grand placard et multiples tiroirs, clim' et ventilateur. Petit déjeuner exquis. Ce lieu plein de charme a vraiment contribué au plaisir de notre découverte de Merida et de ses environs.

Es un lugar hermoso, con personal calido y profesional. La limpieza se hace notar en todos los rincones. La ubicación es la mejor de la ciudad.

Tiene una cafetería con productos hechos ahi mismo, un pan delicioso y muy buen café. Es un lugar que debes conocer sin falta en Mérida.
