The mixed Quesadilla is amazing. This town is know for its smoked meats and the mixed Quesadilla seems to have all of them. One of the best quesadillas I've ever had.

Great selection of smoked meats and guacamole was very good! Tortas are a great choice for breakfast, and loved the morcilla.

The food here is fantastic and cheap, which is the norm in small Mexican towns. The ahumados meat here is what Americans will recognize as smoked ham. It is delicious and has a stronger smoke flavor than Americans will be used to. I highly recommend stopping in for a few tacos.

Delicious, abundant, fresh, spicy, well done tortillas, super affordable prices and the real small town ambiance. Kindly staff and great humidor meat plates, complex and yet simply food. The real thing in your way back to Valladolid from all day swimming in cenotes and climbing up mayan ruins kind of hungry.

Smoked pork in various style plus several different types of pork sausages including chorizo. The mixed platter is the way to go for a group of people. Really delicious!

Get the platter of varied meats 400 pesos basically 20 bucks its excellent! they make their own aquas frescas and they are great.

If you're hungry on your visit to Ek Balam, come here and try their home made meat dishes. Local sausage is excellent.
