Nice selection of local fare and great juice vendor there with a wide menu of options. We meet there for a weekly bike ride. Lots of space and once construction on the streets is finished it be easy to get to.

Expo de Oaxaca at the Santa Ana park. This park has great street food if you are looking for traditional eats you won’t be disappointed there is plenty to choose from. This location also hosts expos from time to time and this Oaxaca expo had so many wonderful things ranging from clothing, jewelry, toys, home decor and great eats. We found some delicious breads and the famous huge tortilla called tlayuda I’m not sure if that’s how it’s spelled but they sure were delicious. Oh lets not forget the stand with the grasshoppers I could not believe how busy this stand was. They had samples so we mustered up some courage and took a taste. I do have to admit they had no flavor with the exception of the spices added to them, the crunch is a tad yucky thinking of what you’re actually chewing on lol.

There was a two week festival that started with vendors from Oaxaca. I bought two items for my wife and tasted Mezcal not made from espadín. Good times!

It seems from Thursday to Sunday nights, they do something on one of the parks. Last night it was at Santa Maria Park, they blocked off the streets, the restaurants took out their chairs & tables, locals took out their stands to sell their products, live music, etc. Lights everywhere 🥰 It was just beautiful!!

Value for money, great location, good food. A good alternative if you want to save on eating out or just taste great local mexican food. Paseo Montejo is just around the corner.

Amazing street food, it's a bit funny how everyone is trying to win you over, when in reality they all offer the same things.

Beautiful, lively. The entire area is nice to walk around in the evening. The street food vendors will try to lure you into their stall. Lots of bars with live music etc

Mérida has many small square plazas like this where people gather at the end of the day to just sit down and enjoy family time. The place is safe even when it gets dark .

Wonderful place to sit and people watch. A food court is at one end with fruit juices, tacos, and other small plate yummies!

Great market inside the building. Fruits, veggies, meats, flowers.
Plus, an impressive altar to the Virgin of Guadalupe.

The park is cute with some great food nearby. I've been at this park at least 20 times and I've never had a bad experience. It's also really close to a lot of points of interest in the center of Merida.

I loved all of the beautiful parks in Merida Centro. Most have free Wi-Fi. I took my colouring book on my trip. It definitely came in handy in the parks!

Lots of fun if you pick Tuesday nights. . Live entertainment and dancing. A great way to spend an even n 20:30 to 22 hrs. Live like a local for a few hours dancing or enjoy watching others that dance. A highly recommended activity... It's free!!
