Sam and staff very friendly and work hard at every level.
Sam is taking English lessons to even do better. We love this place and the staff. Always fun!!! Food is great and always fresh. Not fancy bit worth the experience. Great view

This restaurant is having to face a reconstruction of his facilities after the ocean decimated the previous structure, en a 2 moths period we eat there several times, the food is fresh, well done and awesome presentation, Samy the owner is fantastic host, his wife is the chef is an incredible cook. They make you feel like family. Consider eating there so they can continue to rebuild their restaurant. Thank you all for being so awesome.

Excellent food and service. Right on the beach for a perfect sunset viewing while enjoying your favourite margarita (mango this time). Shrimp cocktail was excellent as well as three other shrimp dinners out group enjoyed. Very reasonable prices great food, great service and awesome sunsets. We will be back. We went back a week later to watch the sunset and enjoy another outstanding experience. Mango and Strawberry Margaritas were exceptional and were 2x1. We had four shrimp dinners including diabla, ajo, and bacon wrap cheese. All the dishes were exceptional and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Sammy the owner was very accomodating and has a great sense of humor. This is truly a hidden gem.

Quaint little place, great view of the bay/ocean, excellent food and service.

As the sun set, the wind decreased, which lead to some mosquitoes. (I am a mosquito magnet!) Sammy offered me a choice of both "natural" mosquito repellent or deet even before I realized I needed sprays. (Attention to details)

Highly recommend, and if we are back in Manzanillo, we will return to this restaurant.

This is a true hidden gem. El Caribe is a tiny seaside restaurant with excellent food and service. It is casual dining with a spectacular ocean view, especially at sunset with the container ships coming in to Port. The staff treats you like in a fancy place. The menu is mostly Mexican-style seafood with some chicken and beef dishes. Mixed drinks are huge and made right. The food is unbelievably good and you'll want to come back to try other things (we did).

Friendly staff and excellent service, great music as well as the scenery of the ocean, delicious food and affordable prices and a very clean establishment.

The owner Sammy is working hard to remodel after the damage from a hurricane. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. It is right on the beach with an amazing view. Sammy make sure you are well taken care of.

Last night four of us had dinner at this lovely restaurant, right on the beach. Our lobster thermadors were to die for and the "made at the table" Cesar salad was always amazing as always with great entertainment value as well. Everybody loved their dinners. Sammy had an adorable little photo booth set up on the beach, so we will have great memories all around. If you get a chance do NOT miss this place. It is our 'go-to' from now on.

El caribe was a 5 star expirrence. Every meal was cooked and presented perfectly. The service was spot on.
We had huchango that was cooked perfectly.
It was anniversary and Sammy made it so much fun.
Can't wait to go and try something different on the
Menue.

Best food we had in Manzanillo. The Ceasar salad made right at the table was amazing. Dinner was good. Fish with verde manzanillo was great. To top things off I left my cell phone at the resturant and our waiter, the owner, was waiting for us with it. He tried to flag us down as we left.

It is right on the beach, great view. I would go here again.

Just finished eating here on a Sunday night. Lobsters and Red Snapper. Shrimp. Everything is just awesome. Love the couple that own the restaurant. Sammy and Alicia. Excellent
