Upscale food and service with great ambiance. I was blown away by my beef ribs. Fresh oysters were a treat. The dishes were creative and our waitress was so lovely. So many personal touches throughout the experience. They have crafted some great cocktails too! We were nervous about not getting in due to lack of a reservation but they got us a table and we were thrilled.

My partner and I had bone marrow and beef tongue for starters. The beef was so tender and the marrow was cooked so well. For mains we had the octopus and beef ribs. The octopus was very well prepared and the beef and mashed potatoes were so tender as well. We were too full for dessert but the staff knew it was our anniversary and gave us the cutest little dessert and note. ❤ Amazing food and amazing staff!

Came here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious. We ordered the Duck tostadas, shrimp tacos, bone marrow, octopus, and beef ribs. Everything was was made to perfection. The service was just a great as the food. They made sure to recognize our special day which made the experience even better. I would definitely return and recommend!

We were here for our third anniversary, and the service was impeccable. The food was super creative, fresh, and of fantastic quality. Everything was delicious. The craft cocktails were unique and delicious. Everything was super from beginning to end, including dessert. Sitting near the kitchen allowed us to view the craftwork of the kitchen.

I would like to give 6 Stars!! The service is very courteous at any time. The food was next level good, we had great Tuna Tacos and the best Ribs ever of our life. The atmosphere is great, we had one of the best dinners on our entire Mexiko trip here. Absolutely must visit!!!

Hands down, the best restaurant we've visited in the Yucatan peninsula during our stay. The food is exquisite, the service very detailed and they cater to a variety of dietary restrictions. My boyfriend is celiac (coeliac) and they carefully instructed us on what he could or could not eat. We enjoyed our dinner safely and had our best date night since his diagnosis. Priceless.

Perfect, everything perfect, every little detail just perfect. Who ever designed this restaurant and it’s kitchen is a mastermind! This is how a restaurant should function, flawless service, perfect food executed by professionals. The attention to detail by the service staff was outstanding. Needless to say that the quality of food was on par with some of the best restaurants in world we have dinned in.

Each dish was mouth watering. We shared an assortment of small plates and the flavors of each were unique and delicious.
Plantain Molotes, Tuna Tacos, and Grilled Cauliflower should not be missed. I would have ordered every dessert if my companions would have allowed me to. The cheesecake was refreshingly not the typical cheesecake!

What a fabulous place! Superb food, delicious cocktails and a friendly, attentive staff. A special shout out to Richard, Rebecca and Ale for making our dinner experience extra special. So glad we stumbled across Micaela. Will be back for more!

Food is awesome. Everything we ordered was so tasty and particularly designed as an in-house dish. It's one level above traditional places in Merida.

This was legitimately the best meal I’ve had in at least a year— maybe longer. Everything was absolutely phenomenal and presented so beautifully. We got the octopus tostada, pork gorditas, bone marrow (best bone marrow I’ve ever tasted), langua (never had before but oh my god it’s amazing), and a lentil/octopus/pork sausage specialty from vallodolid which was also excellent. The cocktails and Mezcal selection were tasty (highly recommend the Pasionaria) and we finished the night with the horchata foam cookie and ice cream (this was the only thing we got a photo of but trust us —everything is delicious). Oh and they served a complimentary shrimp soup tasting that was SO GOOD. I will 100% be visiting here again… or making a trip to Mérida for this place alone!

Lovely upmarket bistro that gets everything just right. Warm ambience, good service and delicious flavours. Good for a casual meet-up or treat yourself to a special night out. I loved the smoky, spicy but not fiery sauce with the shrimp/tamale starter - perfect way to kick off a dining experience, with appetite whetted by one of the mezcal-based cocktails. Recommended.

We were able to walk in the restaurant and get a table. Every meal we ordered was beyond what we expected. Great service too!

I have read that this restaurant wants eating here to be like a cozy family and friends experience. It definitely feels like that — everyone from the hostess to the serving staff are personable and so friendly. The food is rich, homey and comforting - sizeable portions. Definitely try the non-alcoholic cocktails.

From start to finish the experience at Micaela was second to none! The greeting at the door, incredible bi-lingual service, amazing aguachile, pulpo and mole. The decor is fun but homey and the vibe is very welcoming. Our kids loved the food and the decor. We're already planning another visit. Thanks Micaela!

Stray away from tacos for a moment and immerse your taste buds in a different take of Mexican cuisine, while adding a huge dash of Mexican Tempranillo-Shiraz along the journey at Micaela Mar & Leña.

Sometimes, you are fortunate to dine at a restaurant that does everything. This place is it. From the minute you are made to feel welcome when you wall in the door, this place embraces you. The service led by our waiter, Eric, was outstanding. The food, well, you must experience it. Fresh, perfectly cooked and very creative, I can't wait to go back. Congrats to Chef Rebecca and GM Rangel. You have create a magical place!! Oh one other thing. Perhaps the coolest thing I have ever seen on a menu. The option to buy a round of beer for the team in the kitchen!! Of course, we sent one. And don't miss the Pulpo and tge line sorbet with mango!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food. Enjoyed the fish fillet, the carrots botana and the guacamole. Impeccable service and relaxed atmosphere.
