Los Almendros

Nice yucatan restaurant to dine in. The sopa de arroz is just flavor rice with cooked banana. It is really good tho. I got the sopa de limon it is nice. The sunday special with chicken has a good sauce. There was a band playing music when I visited at 14h on sunday.

A local place, without a doubt the best local food. Price ratio was also excellent, location was great and food was perfect.
Yesterday I went to Chaya maya, but los Almendros is MUCH MUCH BETTER than the other place.

You cannot come to Merida Yuc, and not visit Los Almendros. It is a place of traditional taste and gathering. I recommend their home specialties and “Jugos Naturales” to get your day or evening going. The staff, just like about every establishment in Merida is friendly and courteous. Located a few blocks from the city center, makes this a convenient walk without having to grab a taxi.

My wife and I ate there for the last night we were in Merida. I had the Relleno Negro, it was complex in taste, a bit spicy, a real delight. It was Sunday afternoon early dinner, but there was a good crowd. It was highly recommend, and I must say it was some of the best I had the pleasure to try.

Clean, colorful and a local spot. Out of the way of the typical touristy Yucatan restaurants, but well worth going. The service was excellent, the food tasty and well priced. Worth going.

Had not been to Los Almendros for some time. It was a delightful lunch. Bright and cheerful rooms spacious tables and wonderful live music. The food was great, well prepared and presented and so brimming with flavor. Service was very fast. Menu is traditional Yucatecans, but is some of the best I have had. They also have a small parking lot right next to them.

Fairly priced authentic Yucatán cuisine. Their panuchos are second to none. Huge parking lot under a roof, and service was excellent, spotless clean and all silverware comes fully disinfected in a sealed plastic bag. Great choice and less busy than the Chaya Maya

Very welcoming. Very good service with some English available. The food was tasty, the waiter attentive and conscientious, the restaurant spotless. Music playing in the room was tasteful and soft, encouraging conversation at the table,. I enjoyed the Pollo Pibil very much. My husband ordered Pechuga de Pollo Yucateca, which was just the right amount of spice and flavour. The prices are reasonable, service very good.

Very good food and service. Large, clean, low noise dining area and pleasant traditional music in early evening. Reasonable prices, nice selection, helpful waiter with some English and a big smile.

Sopa de Lima here is out of this world! I will definitely be back for a full entree and to try all their other delicious menu items!

Great flavors, a refined place to try authentic flavors, very friendly personnel , every detail is awesome, no matter how simple it looks, the taste is awesome, for example some candy they give you at the end, honey flavor , they taste like real honey, this would make a good summary, great taste not unecessary hoopla.

This place was a recommendation from one of the shops and it was delicious. The staff was very friends. The atmosphere was great? We had Panuchos, Chichek soup, carne Asada, and chicken wings which were awesome!

Try Mukbil de pollo if you go around late October, its a traditional plate made in Yucatan for the day of the dead, it was very good!
