EXCEPTIONAL customer service! The food was okay given it is right in the centre of tourist attraction area. The architecture was fascinating, and beautiful. Also, the view from the second floor was worth every penny, and time. Food portion was adequate so order wisely.

Loved the food and service. The view of the cathedral is spectacular. For starters we had a vegetable taco and a chicken soup. Both were great. We had 2 huge cemitas for the main. Very very tasty. They had so much stringy cheese in them! And then we got some poblano sweets. It was a great dinner.

Came here with a group of 8 for lunch in the afternoon and were seated immediately right by the window with a view to the cathedral.

The menu was large (and you can QR code to read an English version) and staff were friendly.

Tacos were excellent - even had some veggie options.

I was recommended this spot by a local and it was spot on. The view of the cathedral is stunning. Like so many places in Puebla, the food is just amazing. We were initially seated farther back from the windows views of the cathedral, and the waiter offered us to move right by a window as soon as a table freed up without us ever asking. They really went above and beyond. The prices are very cheap, especially considering the prime location and quality of the food. Strongly recommended.

The food was simply delicious! Everything to me was perfect, the hostesses, the lady was so professional with all our requests. Obviously the view was pleasing. ✨

Unique food from the region, taste good, atmosphere great by seating on the 2nd floor seeing the cathedral during the meal. Seating very comfortable. Staff are helpful enough.

This place has delicious Cemitas, a great atmosphere and a gorgeous view to the Catedral. Try the artisans beer.

Conveniently located across from the cathedral and just a block from the zocalo, Comal offers a great selection of Poblano dishes and a lovely atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the chilaquiles colorados.

We were also lucky to be given the balcony seat!
We ordered the 3 moles and Cemitas Carnitas.
But the special mention goes to the Chalupas. That was PHENOMENAL, you have to order the Chalupas.

Had the Saga Ale Blanca, was so tasty and good with the meal.

Great food and drinks, reasonably priced, lovely view of the cathedral and fantastic service from Eduardo! Highly recommend!

Great food, had the pozole with a beautiful view of the church. The staff were very friendly. Definitely come here if you want some delicious traditional meals

We got tacos de carnitas and tacos Árabes with arroz rojo and quesadilla de puesto with cheese and mushrooms.The service was excellent!!

Amazing service, delicious food, and incredible view! We were lucky to get a seat upstairs on the balcony with a perfect view of the cathedral. That was just the icing on the cake to the amazing food we tried - chalupas, cemitas de carnitas and milanesa, pasita, agua de limón de llano... Wow, really everything was insanely good. The staff were so friendly and attentive, everything was perfect.

Cute little place right across from the Zocalo Puebla. Each table was given chips and four different salas with different amount of spiciness. I ordered the mole poblano con pollo. The mole was sweet like chocolate with a small hint of spiciness. The blue corn tortilla that came with the meal was super soft. I think it was the best blue corn tortilla I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Today I had the opportunity to eat at Comal.
From the moment you are served by the workers you can see that they are very friendly and hardworking.

You have a variety of very good food and drinks (I couldn't try the whole menu but what I did try was very delicious), the tacos árabes are delicious (very soft meat and the tortilla is super soft), the carnitas tacos are very tasty (to my taste the taco de cuerito is very fatty, if you are one of those who hate to feel the fat on your fingers I recommend you not to order it. But you have to know that it is very tasty), the teleras and chalupas are delicious dishes to share as an appetizer with your family or friends.
The salsas are also very tasty but I have to warn you that habanero sauces are not for everyone.
Overall I had a great time at El Comal.

A lot of variety of food. Can get a bit overwhelming if you don’t know much about it but the staff is great and they will suggest some dishes for you. The price is good as well and the views from the restaurant are nice.

If you want to enjoy pueblas tipical food. You should visit this place and enjoy the view. Ask for a seat on the upper floor. Enjoy mole, cemitas and all the variety of fresh fruit water or artesian beer.
